The pool and shop

The soulless atmosphere, the dinghy pitch that smelt and was right down the end. The unkempt path to the dog field, resulting in both of us getting nettle stings. No security gate. No pubs nearby, although the one that was a bit of a walk we were told by staff it wasn’t a nice pub (the coppers?) Did not stay second paid night as too depressing.

Facilities were spotless, lots of information. Very green and eco friendly. Staff were lovely. Loved the pool and exploring local places.

Spotlessly clean, well maintained site with a feeling of luxury. Friendly and warm welcome and staff support so friendly and helpful on site.
Extras really make the site stand out from the rest.. the gorgeous pool and hot tub, the pizza oven and microwave and attention to detail in washrooms, dishwash area etc. Amazing wi fi signal.

Exceptionally clean, well manicured grasslands. Friendly staff. Excellent swimming pool complex. Wi-fi across site included. On-site food takeaway. Great walks from the site (pub 10mins away!)

Site pitches not all level. No community / social room or bar. Sauna in pool complex didn't seem to work properly.

Cleanliness, friendliness and range of facilities including the spa, take away shack, games room, doggie spa, cycle hire with was and store area, lovely little shop, snap a map phone booth, dog walking field with plenty of poo bags and bins available.
Very relaxing weekend.

Beautiful well thought out family owned site with polite & friendly staff. Woodovis have thought of everything without having that cooperate commercial feel that most other comparable sites do! This day in age the offering of free internet with a very respectable download speed is welcomed where others throttle you to a low amount or having to pay for greater speeds.

The site is layed out well with everything being well thought out with the added bonus of the 5* amenities on offer. Woodovis go further by adding additional offerings such as bicycle washing station, dog washing facility and even a very much overlooked welly wash station. A level of finesse as been applied to the complete site to little details such as sufficient dog tying points at locations throughout such as shop, toilets, washing up.

The site is amazing! The facilities are amazing. Everything to the last detail is thought of to make this an enjoyable stay for all campers! Immaculate toilet/shower facilities with hot water (no push buttons either) the onsite shop is well stocked. We didn’t make use of the pool but it looked great. The enclosed dog walking feed is a great touch too! Well done!
