Views, quiet, peaceful

Great facilities, toilets and showers warm and clean. There is a lovely dog walk around the site. The pitches were level and strong WiFi around the site.

The bathrooms we’re always spotless and clean and the washing up section’s were a really nice touch.The electric points were nice and close and the views were lovely.Really nice friendly staff.My booking was a last minute decision and they had no problems with that.The arrival slotted times were between 1pm and 9pm so there was no pressure to drive like crazy.

I have 2 big dogs and the spaces to walk them wasn’t as big as we needed.However if you have a small dog it should be fine.Our patch was a little titled but had I been organised I would have bought some of those plastic ramp things.

Everything. The site was lovely, quiet and really useful for getting around the lakes. Staff were friendly, showed us to our pitch and had a great little shop on site for essentials. The facilities were really good; lovely hot showers, clean toilets, and lots of room for people to wash up (the fridge and freezer were very welcome too).

The sunsets here are amazing as are the views. we had a lovely time.

The British weather!

Had a wonderful time as our first camping trip of 2A 2C & 2D. Wasn’t sure how it would turn out but the lady at reception was very informative and lovely. The showers/toilet's were very clean. We don’t really have much of a wait to use the showers which was good.
The shop on site had a little of everything as we did forget a few things. We did book 2 nights but weather said it was going to pour down on the Sunday morning so we did decided to pack up after one night (first time campers and didn’t want to spoil it) and went out nearby for a lovely walk and kids on the bikes. We booked the larger pitch to make sure we had plenty of room for the dog and kids but we ended up with more than needed. Over all we had a great first time experience.

There was nothing to dislike

amenities were cleaned regularly. pitch sizes were large and the shop was well stocked. views were stunning and the site is well located and the greeting on arrival was lovely too :)

only slight pick was that the pitches, though well sized were sloping. my youngest said she would have liked for something on site to do.

Facilities, absolutely amazing and so peaceful. Site rules on a night are to ensure everyone is happy and has a good nights sleep. The site is situated perfectly near local places for things to do.
Happily will be going back, and will definitely be booking to go again soon!

There is definitely opportunities on the site to offer additional features, such as; restaurant/pub. Granted this adds on additional costs, but it is great for something different on the site, and will help them stand out over other sites in the area.

Views, location & tidiness. The staff were great too. How respectful all the campers were of quiet & each other.

Only one main toilet block for a lot of people.

Nicely spaced between pitches.

Would love to stay there again.
