Location, pitch sizes, onsite facilities all fantastic

Quite an expensive site compared to others we've stayed at

Clean and friendly campsite with plenty of amenities.

A short walk from Brixham harbour.

Bins are filled very quickly. Seems to be from things purchased for camping IE large boxes and such likes. This did lead to trash being spilt into the floor and attracting the seagulls

Although located at the top of a steep hill, site is on the flat, so level pitch.
Staff very helpful.
Facilities adequate.
New bar was good, if a little basic.

No general supplies shop for a site of that size.
Coffee/ice cream stall closed while we were there.
Rubbish overflowing, which then got blown all over in high winds.
As a mature couple, could have done with being sited further away from the noise of the playground.
Lack of taxis and bus service in Brixham finishing by teatime meant not suitable site if you can’t manage walking back up the steep hill.

The camp site is so very peaceful, clean shower blocks that also have as a bonus a laundry with washers and dryers. Has a children's play area near to the bar tent.
Very friendly helpful staff.
Nice easy 10 minute walk down to Brixham harbour. There is a CO-OP 5 minute walk away too. Plenty to occupy the whole family.

Nothing to dislike here and we will definitely be coming back again

Het ontbreken van was cabines.
De te hoge snelheids beperkende drempels.
Ontbreken van privacy : campingplekken. Je kijkt tegen de volgende caravan/camper aan.

Lack of toilet facilities during cleaning times, shower areas small, made it awkward with young kids, bin areas untidy with rubbish all over, lack off signage for actual drinking water, small play area!

The location and the people around us

Such a shame! We stayed 2 years ago and the site was well maintained, no noise after 10pm and if there was then it was dealt with .
This year was totally different, the space we were allocated had nettles all along the back making it difficult to access the back of the van , the showers had mould up the walls and rubbish was flowing out of the bins . There were some very loud people at night ( thank god for earplugs ) .
Pitch markings weren’t clear making it difficult to see where you were supposed to set up .
Makes it difficult to want to go back .

Basic campsite within easy walking distance to reach coast path and beaches, and Brixham a short drive away. We had a fun stay.

Could have been more shrubs/planting to divide between pitches, and bathroom cleaning needed more attention.

Really liked the atmosphere.
Was greeted and shown to the site.
Site was well maintained.
Good shower and washing facilities.
Ground well kept.
Nice bar and cafe on site.
Enjoyed the live music on Saturday.
The children liked the park on site.

Could do with a mini shop for essentials but there is a coop nearby
