Great site, lovely and clean great walks and dog area.
Motorhome facilities were excellent.

Bathrooms as said previously get busy during peak times, but really clean and well maintained.

Nothing to dislike, we will return.

Beautiful small campsite, fantastic toilet and shower facilities, lovely chickens and shetland ponies, well stocked shop and great to be able to hire a fire pit.

Toilets and shower facilities were spacious and always clean and available, even at a peak time in the morning.

Staff were very helpful and small shop saved the day with a couple of essentials.

Great location as a base for trips to local towns of Buxton, Bakewell and Ashbourne and also for starting walks that allow you to explore some quiet, rolling peaks or pick up local main trails -Manifold, Tissington and Monsal.

Some picturesque local villages with great pubs for food.

Hardstanding was tricky without rockpegs!

This is a really lovely, quiet site nestled in the Derbyshire countryside within easy reach of the many beautiful areas the Peak District has to offer. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Facilities are really clean with lovely free showers in spacious cubicles. The site itself is really well tended. As others have mentioned, some hard standing pitches slope slightly, which is evident from the pictures on the campsite website but nothing that cannot be rectified with some ramp blocks. I notice some reviewers have marked the site down for the cost of a pitch but I think it is a decent price to pay for such a well cared for site with free showers, good wifi and a well stocked shop of local produce and sundries. . Highly recommended.
