Lovely site which you can't fault

Ended holiday early due to high winds and my awning collapsing

What a lovely site, well managed, clean and great facilities. Really enjoyed the stay.

Weather was horrendous so we didn't stay

Easy check in. Café on site open 10am -5pm is a nice touch but no shop to buy anything, given how extremely remote the site is it would have been helpful to have a few necessary items... milk, eggs, bread etc.

Very exposed coastal location down single track road. Unfortunately we could only stay one day as the forecast was for 60mph gales.
Please be aware to bring absolutely everything you will need with you for the entirety of your stay as there is nothing nearby to cater for any needs. Space for children to play in field. Showers are 50p per use. Bit outdated but perfect if you want to be totally cut off from it all.

Friendly, welcoming owner; tidy, clean, level fields.
Site larger than we thought, we had a lovely corner pitch.
Quiet, allowed dogs and fire pit- both of which were a must for us!
Clean toilets and showers (50p coin for the shower)
Lovely cafe/ bar on site which had we been staying longer we would have liked to sample.
Lots of lovely walking, including easy access to the coastal path with gorgeous views out to Bardsey Island.

Tent pitches were well maintained and fields were a decent size.
We were allowed BBQs and camp fires.
The shower was amazing, nice and hot.
The cafe on site did some lovely food and the owners were really friendly.
Fab location to explore the nearby beaches.

Beautiful coastal location. Flat pitches. Amazing site for stargazing. Neighbouring town of Aberdaron was a two mile walk or 5 minutes in the car and well worth a visit. BBQs and campfires allowed, other camper friendly and considerate. Our stay was very peaceful and we had the added bonus of a heatwave during our stay. Site was cleaned to an ok standard and well maintained. We stayed the first week of the summer holidays and although it was busy, the site still felt spacious and we never had to queue for showers or washing area. Overall a lovely campsite especially for families. Some reviewer complained about the 50p charge for a shower but I think it was worth every penny, the water pressure was amazing, I managed to get everything done and only stayed in the shower longer to get my monies worth.

Wi-Fi was poor and mobile data was very hit and miss on the pitch but did improve before 9am and after 11pm. Facilities were moderately clean but in need of an upgrade, one of the urinal had been removed and had a black bag covering the cavity. Although the shower pressure was fantastic the washing areas pressure was quite poor. My wife checked in on arrival and said the reception wasn’t particularly friendly and don’t think the hosts popped down to the pitches at anytime during our 8 night stay. Which is a shame as the majority of the site we’ve stayed the hosts usually check in to make sure everything’s ok.

Beautiful location, campsite really nice and well maintained. Ground is nice and flat. Pitches are nicely spaced out. Staff are friendly and helpful.
