I personally disliked nothing!

Loved the trust and freedom of the campsite. Pitch up where suits you. A communal fridge and honesty Tuc shop. Really loved how close it was to Horsted mill. We had an amazing day out paddle boarding. Chip shop and convenience store very close by.
Loved all the animals and surprisingly so quiet at night. Although the rooster/chickens do make a hell of a sound in the morning, but it was all part of the experience. Also very clean toilet shower areas! All felt very secure, our young ones could go off and come back at their pleasure.

Lovely clean fields, nice and flat with good toilets and showers. Friendly staff, shop on site. Great location for local attractions and highly recommend the nearby Recruiting Sargent for a meal.

Friendly and welcoming host. Able to have camp fires. Proximity to river for kayaking and swimming.

Being next to a busy road as it was a bit noisy at times.

Proximity to a road.

The Space is great. The kids loved seeing the horses and other animals there. The toilets & showers were very clean. The people were friendly and helpful with directions for walks. and space for the kids to play ball or just run around without disturbing other campers. Highly recommend

Amazing setting, we have stayed here twice now and love the freedom you get with choosing where to pitch up, there are no allocated spaces so if travelling with a group of you, you can park together how you want too! When we went it said they were fully booked and there was still LOADS of space in the two camping fields which is nice, you’re not at all crammed in like some places. Shower and toilet facilities are clean and modern. The grounds are lovely with alpacas and horses in the fields next to you. Dog friendly too! And just a 10 min walk to the river if you like paddle boarding/kayaking! The people who run the campsite are super friendly and around to help. Also you can hire kayaks from them! Will deffo go back again, beautiful peaceful area and great for paddle boarding. Just really chilled out and laid back!

We loved the animals. The kids were off exploring, fussing the cats and chatting to the alpacas and ponies every day. They even had to go around and say goodbye to each and every one when we left. Their highlight was definitely helping out with the alpacas.
Apart from the cute furry residents the campsite itself is lovely. Great facilities. Lovely hot showers. The honesty shop is a nice idea for some basic essentials. There's a communal fridge freezer which is always a bonus for refreezing ice packs or storing perishables. Tea and coffee making facilities available. The football goal posts were a hit as was the hammock to chill in. Michelle was lovely especially with the kids.
Some people have mentioned the road, yes you definitely hear it but to be honest I got used to it after the first day, which is saying something as a very light sleeper. (I will remember my ear plugs next time though) however the kids slept all the way through even during the storms.
The camp atmosphere was lovely initially. The kids made lots of friends and everyone was respectfully quiet from 10pm.
Location is great, plenty of days out within easy driving distance.
Despite the really bad weather, we still had an amazing time and hopefully will get a lovely sunny stay next time, and yes we will definitely be returning.

However, on the weekend we did have some noisier neighbours unfortunately; the 10pm music curfew wasn't adhered to and some groups continued talking loudly well past 11pm. Bit of a contrast from earlier in the week, but it's the luck of the draw with who's staying. Second night they were quieter, the rain may have helped.
