I was in Wales for a Dog behaviour consultation. My 6-year-old wanted to try camping and this was a great opportunity for here to try Glamping before we do camping. She loved the area and could run around we tried campfire marshmallows all a great success.

The toilet in the unit was not finished yet, but that was not a problem as the was a new built washing-up/shower and toilet unit. If you need to be connected this is not the place as mobile and internet connection is poor.

What a charming little site with amazing views of the castle. The site manager Ian was extremely obliging, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Lovely clean facilities with hot showers. A lovely addition was the fresh herbs made available for campers to use free of charge. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, we will be returning.

Just come home from a lovely 2 night stay at Trapp fishery. We were welcomed by Ian, who kindly showed us to our pitch & then the toilet/shower facilities. Fabulous views of the castle from the camping field. Could see it from the motorhome pitch because of the trees.
Toilet & showers were immaculate. Walked to the Castle in just over 1/2 hour. There was a footpath, that was going to take longer, so went the road way. Would definitely return, very quiet, if you’re looking for peace, you will get it here.

What a lovely stay we had at this campsite despite the weather
Very peaceful location with great view of the Carreg Cennen Castle, new clean facilities, great local butcher and fresh eggs on the food step!

I was traveling with my brother- in a tent an me +dog in a small camper, the owner was extremely helpful choosing a pitch that met our needs, it was quiet and a wildlife haven- we even saw the kingfisher fly over the pond.

I did not dislike anything really but there is very poor mobile and wifi reception in the area and the shower block needs a little finishing though everything worked well.

Nothing too much trouble
The lake on site has a good amount of fish
To fish here for the day is £10 for two rods
A Really lovely new shower / toilet block has recently opened
Plus washing up area for campers
Washing machine available at £5 per wash for those who need it
Personally I would install lights that go off after a certain length of time as a lot of people left the lights on which in the long run will cost a lot in electric
There is a lovely cottage at the bottom of the lake, plus a pod plus a yurt to rent too
A visit to the stunning castle which we overlooked with our tent is definitely worth a visit
Lovely cafe / tea room is at the bottom near the visitors car park
We also visited Folly’s Farm
If you have children it’s a great day out
Keep up the hard work Ian and mum you have a gem of a business there

The caravan behind our tent were very inconsiderate to other campers
Up one night past 1.30am laughing and most words were swear words
The next evening they thought it would be a good idea to start chopping wood for there camp fire at 12.30am waking up most of our family
Please have consideration for others in the future

Turned up at the pitch on 28th july to pitch our new tent for the first time
As we were driving to site the weather started to turn bad
Despite the weather forcasting dry all weekend
When we drove to pitch the grass was up around our ankles
And really mucky looking
I explained to the man that we won't be pitching tent due to the conditions
I was told i should receive some sort of refund
Contacted ian and was told that they can't control the weather which obviously i am well aware of

Ian the chap who runs the site was a lovely guy who couldn't of been more helpful and accommodating we only stayed one night but the kids wished we'd stayed at the site for a week already booked up for another trip in the yurt and we will definitely be back for many more trips in the future found a slice of paradise in Wales!! Thanks Ian and john for having us
