- close to the beach with access via steps down the cliff side

- many cars did not stick to the 5MPH limit, which I felt could have been dangerous (although I accept without cameras it's difficult to manage)
- some dog owners allowed their dogs to bark continuously- sometimes for hours at a time
- the next field over was a building site as they expand - lots of noise from this field at times. Although I do understand why it was necessary.

Lovely spot, decent facilities (plenty of WCs and hot showers), not over-crowded. The coffee trailer was an unexpected bonus.

Only little things - I especially could have done with a chunk longer for a single press on the shower, communication / messaging wasn't entirely straightforward / clear ahead of time, especially about arriving after 1700 (I was asked to inform them "so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch" but my email got knocked back and I got no response to my message using the contact form), but it was fine on arrival (there's a number to ring and someone comes to give you the info). NB Please ignore my 'would you recommend...' response - it's a meaningless forced answer question (I never recommend anything to anyone, the review should be sufficient to see I have a positive view the place)

Everything, this was my first time venturing on to a holiday park for camping after years of using wild/back to basic campsites. I imagined lots of rules and regulations to follow and small pitches etc but we had the absolute best time.
Facilities are excellent, throughly cleaned and plenty of loos and showers for everyone.
The pitches are large with lots of space and separating hedges to the rear of the pitches. Noise died at 11pm and the sound of the sea and light traffic drowned out chat for a peaceful nights sleep.
The icing on the cake of course is the beach access, it is amazing. Each morning we rose early to enjoy a coffee on the cliff watching the sunrise, it was perfect.
We walked to town along the sea, it took about an hour, then got the bus back to site. There is a fab boot sale a 5 minute drive from the site on a Sunday morning.
I can’t rate this place enough, even the clover/grass lawn of the pitches was perfect. We will be booking again for sure! If tent camping book the sea view field - the electric field looked a little rough and packed in.

The facilities were great and cleaned regularly. The site had food onsite which was a great bonus after a day exploring the coast.

Very nice situated just on the cliff over the beach, I really liked that no strict pitch boundaries. very nice, clean, good maintened bathroom facilities. Shopping center 3min drive

Although there steps direct to the te beach from the cliff the beach itself is not to pleasant for kids /family leisure. A bit of a walk to the sand nice piece of shore.

Receptionist very helpful and friendly, maintenance & cleaning crew was very good keeping the toilets and shower blocks clean and tidy. The fish and chip shop on site was very tasty, plus burger van and coffee hut on site, ice-cream van came on site which is a nice touch. lovely beach you can walk for miles in either direction overall experience was lovely

Not really a dislike could do with a little shop on site for the likes of bread, bacon, eggs, your usual breakfast stuff really there is a Morrisons and a co-op 5 minutes drive away may be just me being lazy 🫣🫣

View, welcome, well behaved campers being quiet at curfew with many kids

Noice of music festival, could not keep on top of toilets cleaning, no charging available, could be a lot more bike friendly if it wanted to be.

everywhere is very clean, we love staying at The Hollies, it’s very well
managed, being so close to the beach is amazing , being allowed a camp fire is the best

Lots of space, great location by sea, shower blocks immaculately clean. Reception staff efficient and friendly. All went very smoothly.

It would be nice in some ways if it was a lifeguarded beach or one that's more set up for swimming. But it's a huge, superb expanse of dune and nature and it's very special. Lowestoft is near enough for that kind of beach!
Wasn't wild about the fish and chip stand but it was convenient. Coffee stand on the other hand was brilliant!
