Spacious pitch. Near beach.

Showers very poor. Distance to walk into Croyde for facilities. Waterlogged pitches although thankfully the flexibility to change.

Grass electric pitch. Lyn field . Field is closest to the sea . Quick walk to the toilet/showers/washing up area which are all basic but clean, showers were hot . Also easy access through next field to main building, restaurants, takeaways , swimming pool, shop . Lovely walk through the Burrows opposite down the path to the village where there's 2 lovely puds with outside areas . We had a fab roast in the Thatch . Great cider (Ratler) in Billy buds . Takes about 20 minutes. You can go over the beach through the dunes and down the path . Bus stop just outside site . Staff on site all friendly. Lots of offers on food and drinks.

Shop had very limited stuff but it is nearly end of season so not surprised. Had breakfast twice in bar both days part of the breakfast was very overdone after long wait times .

The site is in a good position.
Our pitch, this time, was easy to change.
We have been to this site a few times and the only thing bringing us back was the position of it.
I have to say after our last visit in August we did say we would never return(disgusting showers, toilet smelt, no locks on the doors......it was absolute hell), but the staff had said things were going to improve, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Things still need doing and you can see they are in the process of change and so far the improvement is fantastic, I can't wait to see the changes next year.

Nothing much as they are starting work and it would be wrong to criticise what is a working project.

Perfect location, short stroll to excellent beach, entertainment complex, food outlets and nice local village.

Grass pitches can be hard to manoeuvre on when wet

Glamping first time normally go camping but was all good 👍 definitely do it again All the facilities where excellent Staff were very friendly and helpful
Didnt use WiFi that’s the only reason for one star 👍 Remote enough to know you camping/glamping and not disturb by normal town/village noise but close enough if you need anything. On site food prices in restaurants/takeaways where reasonably priced.👍👍

Noisy birds/animals at silly o’clock in the morning but this is expected when camping/glamping strange thing was one of the noises sounded more prehistoric 🤣🤣 In the Glamping section could have done with 1/2 lights on the road so you could see at night but a torch will be fine

I had an amazing stay, the weather was terrible so I visited the restaurant a few nights and the staff were warm and welcoming, the food was amazing!! 5* to the chef. The touring facilities were very clean, love the shower cubicle’s, hair dryers too! Great place to stay solo, felt very safe with 24hr security too.

My only advice is that it weren’t the best being given a pitch that had no grass left so this became mud, there were lots of empty grass pitches so would be best to let them out and give the ones that had none time to grow

Check in was incredibly easy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The campsite was brilliant, very close to the beach and had lots of options for eating out. Surf board hire from Offshore surf shop was good value for money. Wash/ toilet facilities were kept clean. Will definitely be returning.
