Lovely campsite with plenty of activities and only a short walk to the beach. A well-stocked convenience store and a good choice for places to eat onsite or nearby (but watch out for seagulls pinching your chips!) we came in August and it was busy but never seemed overcrowded or too noisy. We loved our stay here!

The only thing we didn't like was the showers and changing rooms at the swimming pool were not very clean.

Easy to access, good facilities. Great access to the beach, nice parks for the kids.

Toilets were a bit grotty, especially the men’s.

The arcade was good my kids enjoyed that.

The facilities on site are very poor they are in need of a update and another shower block added to the site. One block is not enough for how big the site is.
Drains in the shower block were vile, I expect abit of dirt but those showers were gross, rusty shower heads, dirty, smelly blocked drains.
In the men's my husband said everytime he went in the toilets were blocked with number 2s and he was unable to use them.
The site in general is fine all could do with an update tho.

I would give 3.5 if I could. The campsite has organised pitches which I liked as it avoids you having to arrive and squeeze in somewhere. We stayed in Taw, which was great. The pitches were large and level and the view was lovely. You can see and hear the sea. Mostly the campsite was quiet after 11pm. There wasn't anyone policing this though and on occasion you can get a noisy group and nothing happens to stop this.
The location of the site means that we would come back as it's a very short walk to the beach and the village.

The facilities are dated and badly need an upgrade. There didn't seem to be a regular cleaning schedule and the showers were quite dirty all of the time. I'd suggest a refit and squeegee mops in each stall. This is a really simple thing that allows guests to mop their own bay before and after and keeps things neat. Showers lack pressure so people need to take longer and must waste water. The pool was pretty naff. We booked this site as the children would have somewhere to go if the weather was bad. It wasn't really a pool though, just a rapid river that you go round in circles in. There isn't anywhere to swim and the flume was closed the whole time. It gets booked up as well so there isn't any guarantee that you can use it. Compared to other campsites it was more expensive and I would have hoped for better showers and toilets for the money. The site states there is free WiFi park-wide but it didn't work at any time.

Location location location! Cannot fault this. Up on the cliff so you can see the ocean from the campsite which is beautiful. The beach is perfect too.
Loved the swimming pool and the rapids are very fun for all ages although the slide was out of order which was disappointing.
Campsite was wonderfully clean and looked after for the most part and we really enjoyed our stay.

My main issue really is just the price if things here, you do end up feeling a bit like they are taking advantage of the lack of nearby shops to really rinse you. Nearly £3 for a small bottle of pop, £1.70 for water, £3 for packets of crisps etc from the shop, then the on-site takeaways were extortionate too, £13 for chicken and chips from the fried chicken place and nearly £5 for a small portion of chips from the chippy and £6.50 for a Cornish pasty!! You definitely feel like they’ve got you over a barrel as there’s no shops nearby. Definitely bring your own food wherever possible.

The slide being out of order was disappointing especially as it wasn’t specified before booking but on the email I got the day before we arrived they stated that it was out of order for all of 2024 - This should be on the booking site really.

My only other issue is that the feminine hygiene bins really need to be emptied twice daily as by the afternoon every day they are overflowing which is quite off putting.

Helpful staff, we arrived an hour early and they let us in. The indoor rapids were fun. Location is excellent 2 min walk to the beach. Plenty of showers and toilets which were clean. There was ABBA Tribute and disco afterwards in the showroom that was entertaining.

The water slide was shut, alcoholic drinks were little pricy and ABBA singers were too loud, high pitch voices were echoing we couldn’t stay too long.

A few showers didn't work or had to keep holding the button down. Which wasn’t easy but thats being picky!

Proximity to the beach, local area, activities and food available on site, decent sized pitches, EHU and close water point

Obvious restrictions and premium on food and beverages, booking activities and pool etc is difficult without internet connection and required to book a long time in advance to guarantee spaces, long waits for food, facilities very tired and not clean, lots of broken toilets and showers
