Absolutely everything - we couldn’t rate it highly enough. The pitches were beautifully maintained and so well spaced. The way the site is arranged (with each pitch in its own section with picnic table and fire pit) gives you the perfect sense of privacy without isolation. The facilities were clean and lovely, with lots of nice touches like extra sinks and mirrors for teeth brushing. The communal under cover area is ideal for playing cards when the wind makes that impractical in a tent!

Matt the owner was fantastic and is always on hand should you need anything.

The other campers on site with us were all return guests which says it all.

Basically, we can’t recommend this site enough (but maybe we shouldn’t as we want to keep it to ourselves!).

We loved our stay here. The yurt was amazing and made staying with young children easy, even came with a highchair and travel cot.
The kitchen was well equipped and the surrounding grounds well maintained.

What a fantastic campsite! Matt , site manager gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around the campsite and explained where all the facilities were located.
In reception, there is a fridge where you can find packs of local fresh local meat ready for barbecues and they are delicious. Nice variety of lamb burgers, beef burgers, chipolatas, pork loin steak, yum! Some delicious ice creams are also available and they are soooo tasty. And let’s not forget the fresh duck eggs :)

Brilliant shower facilities, big shower cubicles and a shower head that you can slide up and down which is so useful when you have an autistic daughter that really doesn’t like the sensation of water running on her face as well as a few sinks dotted around with mirrors so you can brush you teeth , brush your hair and wash face and feel ready for a wonderful day ahead.

The campsite is set in a beautiful location, not too far from anywhere and it’s quiet and peaceful and so much space for dogs to run around. It’s magic.

Loved it so much that’s we’re planning on going back next year.

From the Start, Matt at Quarry Park Campsite was brilliant. He helped guide us to the site and was ready at reception when we arrived. Very Polite and helpful.

A quick introduction to the facilities and our pitch was shown to us. Due to us arriving at the checking in time we were first in and got to choose between a number of pitches. All of them boasting their own attributes.

We stayed at the Birch pitch, which was a lovely area full of birds singing and was far enough away from the main block that we was not interrupted at all during our 3 day stay. The crows do like to talk here at 5am though! But hey, that's camping.

The campsite is very clean, well presented and has all the go to items you need. It has fridge freezers that all campers share, which is a great help.
It also has firepits and firewood you could rent whilst here saving you trekking them from home and stinking your car full of charcoal.
It has power extension leads to charge your electrical devices we all need.

The toilet and shower blocks are immaculate, with plenty of sinks dotted around for hand washing, teeth brushing and some mirrors to sort your camping hair out.
There are hot water sinks also on site for your dish washing too.

To summarise, staying at Quarry Park was an amazing experience, and made the holiday effortless and relaxing. We will be back in the coming weeks with hopefully some family members to play on the huge fields out the back. Thanks for having us :)

Could do with more washing facilities

Everything, staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids absolutely loved the hammocks. Great, clean facilities and really enjoyed ourselves. Thought it was a fantastic idea having firepit and electrical bay for all families. Having Fridays and freezers are a great idea too. My kids really enjoyed Will 100% come back.

No clubhouse. No childrens' playground. Perfect.

Great pitches with lots of space. The built in fire pit and picnic benches were an added bonus. The site is immaculate with excellent shower block and kitchen areas. The recycling area is also very good. Fridge with locally stocked bacon, sausages and burgers came in very useful and the duck eggs from the farm were gorgeous.

Matt (owner) is incredibly friendly and helpful.
