The showers were excellent, easy to control water temperature, lots of hot water, effective shower curtain and the cubicles were spacious and well laid out with hooks, stool and mirror.
The pitches were level and the site felt secure with automatic bollards controlling entry and exit.

The wash rooms were very cramped, lacked any privacy and poorly designed. The campsite has 2 facilities and we were nearest the portacabin, with 3 closely positioned sinks. Standing at the third sink resulted in blocking the hand drier, which was awkward. There were no hooks to hang a wash bag or towel and the surfaces were generally wet as the sinks are set far back. There is no partitioning and the door was normally left open so people passing could see in. There was no hair dryer. The other block did have one hair dryer in the ladies. The sinks in that block were peculiarly high, difficult for me as a short woman and not very child friendly.

Clean, tidy, great location, great layout. Loved the field so we could have an evening game of cricket. Would definitely return

Only thing I could think of is the number of lights on the campsite, difficult to star gaze with so many lights.

Site was immaculate, facilities cleaned regularly to a very high standard. Staff always polite & helpful. Pitch was a super grass pitch and it was exactly that. Very big, more than enough space for wide van, canopy & car side by side. Great location with a pub just across the road and bus stop outside.

Lovely spacious grass pitch. Very clean toilet and shower facilities also great dishwashing areas. Very secure. Handy vending machine on site. Only 5 minute walk to village pub and bus stop.

Lovely campsite. Very clean and friendly. Not overcrowded. Big EHU space. Toilets and showers very clean and regularly maintained. Rubbish area very good, access to recycling. Great little vending machine available if you shops need it. Regular walk around from staff. Really liked the noise rules. The offering of bricks for your BBQ was very well thought of. All in all, a great camping site. We will definitely return. Set in the middle of Dorset and Weymouth. Both of these are accessible by car or bus or bike! We used Portesham as a base and went out for some amazing family days, site seeing the local areas. 5*. Many thanks.

Immaculately presented site with clean facilities. Lots of space, nice and quiet and a good location for a days walking in the countryside or driving to the beach. The field for ball games was a real bonus for my daughters.
