We stayed at Portesham Caravan Site in September and absolutely loved it. The facilities were spotless and really well maintained, and the site itself is beautifully laid out with plenty of open fields and space around. It’s such a peaceful, scenic location — perfect for relaxing and taking in the countryside views.
It’s also a great base to explore Dorset, with lots of lovely places nearby like Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Chesil Beach and Abbotsbury. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, well-kept site in a beautiful part of the county.

Sure it could do with a second brick facilities building and yes we feel hedges between pitches would be a good improvement, but what they offer now does us well. The local pub, 5mins walk, is good with good food. The site dog field is excellent, our two love it, especially the shallow stream.
