Absolutely loved this site and would 100% book again, location was perfect, close to the lake and town centre. Showers and toilets were nice and clean. No activities/park on site however this wasn’t an issue as we went out in the day time

Such a friendly welcome by the lady in the shop. She asked if I had been before. I hadn't so she made sure I knew where I was going.
Our pitch was large enough to fit our 8 man tent with a porch and the car in front. I saw a few comments about the ground being hard, but come on, how is this the fault of the campsite?
The pitch layout is good and everyone had enough room.
It is in such a great location, very close to the lake. If you want a trip out, I recommend getting the steam train from Bala station which is only about 5 mins walk away.
The campsite was busy but quiet. We had no issues with noise.
Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the showers which is a nice touch. It smells good too which makes a difference to other places where they go for the cheapest.
My husband said the male shower block was clean.
The shop on site is a lovely touch stocking camping essentials, toiletries and food.
We didn't buy wifi as we have unlimited data. We got 4g signal on the site.
There was quite an issue with spiders and cobwebs in the disabled facilities which only showed how bad they were at night. It was like a horror film, however I contacted the office and they sorted this out that evening. Shout out to the person who had to deal with this as there were loads and the spiders were MASSIVE!
Such an excellent campsite!

Disliked:
Not enough toilets etc queues whenever I went.
Quite tightly packed spaces. Dogs not being kept on leads. Noisy site, cars racing past, no play area for children. WiFi has to be paid for as an additional fee.
All well maintained and organised, extremely clean and tidy with polite staff that were happy to assist with anything we needed. Site was very quiet day and night. Everything was of good high end quality. Will be returning again before next year but for a week next time.
A busy but peaceful site and great location only a few minutes walk from the lake. Ideal spot for walking into Bala itself. Spotlessly clean facilities. Lovely showers. Will be returning definitely!

The water in the showers was very hot. I needed to use the disabled shower due to my disability, but I really struggled with the hot water from the shower. There was another lady who had to fill up a bucket with cold water so she could pour it on her child whilst showering so it wasn't so hot. Maybe it is preference but there is no way to adjust the temperature yourself.
I noticed that the disabled facilities didn't get cleaned. The floor may have been swept but the surfaces didn't. The same dirt was there every day. We stayed for 4 nights and the bin never got emptied in that whole time!

Lovely quiet site, great facilities heated floor washrooms with free hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo provided with hot showers. Janice the site manager is a gem, would love to return.

Beautiful well cared for site, shower/toilet block excellent, even had fire pits free to use, janice was lovely very helpful, overall one of the best sites we’ve stayed on

WiFi not great but it didn’t affect our holiday one bit after all you’re in the middle of the countryside and the idea is to get away from all that on holiday for us anyway

Busy road and very cramped site.

Lovely well maintained site. Large showers. Lovely level pitches. Nice little shop on site. Plenty of places to walk our dogs close to site. Bala lake 5 minutes walk away and town about 10 minutes walk. Janice the manageress is a lovely friendly, welcoming lady. Very down to earth. We stayed in our Motorhome. But there are camping huts and glamping tents you can hire which look amazing. 100% recommend
