Plenty of toilet facilities but only 3 showers - there was a queue each morning - get in early. The water wasn't very hot either. We had pitch 24 it backs on to the road, it's quite a busy road and noisy but it never ruined our trip .

Short walk from Bala Lake which is beautiful, there’s a cute little steam train nearby. The walk into Bala is 10-15 minutes where there is a good selection of shops, pubs, cafe/restaurantUnbeliebt: The pitch we were allocated was on the small side and was located next to a road which I’m guessing farm vehicles travelled along. This occurred from 5.30am until around 10pm as a light sleeper it woke me each time.
It appeared the toilets are checked once a day as the toilet paper had run out each night so had to take my own toilet paper last & first thing.
I feel these are minor things overall and I would certainly recommend and return but would request a pitch away from the back of the site.

With regards to the road, unfortunately there is very little we can do about the times people travel along it, or our location - we are in a rural area, and as such, there are tractors and trailers that travel past. Guests can request other pitches but during busy times, sometimes moving to an alternative pitch is just not possible.
The toilets are checked more than once a day, however weekend staff work from 9am-5pm and there is only one person on duty at the weekend so although we do our best to ensure there is adequate toilet paper in every cubicle, inevitably when the site is full, it can sometimes run out. If the person on duty is made aware of this at the time, we would have gone straight away to re-fill and it is always our first port of call to check this first thing in the morning.

When you come and visit us again please give us a ring and we can (hopefully ) allocate a pitch for you away from the road. We have large pitches at the top of our site. Unfortunatley we cannot install any more shower cubicals at the moment , in time maybe we will build a new shower block and will take all suggestions on board, as for the water, we have to be very careful on what settings we put the water as you can imagine everyone has different tolerance. we look forward to seeing you again.
