Ideally situated for Bala lake, 2 minute walk also a nice train ride going past the lake and beautiful scenery. 15 minute walk to town. Where there is a co op and small independent shops, eateries and 3 or 4 pubs. Ideally located. We will be back.

Unbeliebt: We were camping and didn’t get a picnic bench on our pitch. There were plenty in benches on other spots so can’t work out why not ours or that we weren’t offered a spot with a bench.

Unbeliebt: Roadside pitches were unbelievably noisy! We had the pitch by the gate, everyone looking in to our caravan, privacy screens (from the gate and pavement) would be appreciated. Pitch 24 is incredibly narrow too for a tourer plus car. We asked for an alternative pitch when we arrived but they were fully booked. Under dark and dingy trees too, wasn't for us. Disappointed as the site was recommended.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the noise from the road - it is completely out of our control. If we had have had another pitch available to move you to, we would have, as we said when you requested to move, but we were fully booked and didn't have the capacity to facilitate this. We only have 5 electric only pitches and these are all sited along the road until we hopefully upgrade them over the Winter - not everything can be done at once and we have to wait for our closed season to undertake any maintenance work - so you were limited to pitches. Maybe give us another chance and upgrade to one of our fully serviced pitches and try a different location on the site - you can always request a pitch when booking and we will do our best to accommodate any requests when given enough notice.
