Unbeliebt: Toilet block is new but the cleaning isn't up to par. I sat in one of the cubicles reading the news on my phone and the cleaner came in to clean the toilets but all they did was flush each toilet and squirt some toilet cleaner in each bowl. No seats were wiped or disinfected!

With regards to the cleanliness of the amenity block - this is checked and cleaned at least 3 times a day and we take huge pride in keeping it up to the high standard our guests expect. Sometimes, a quick check is done first thing in the morning, with a more thorough, deep clean of the unit after the 'morning rush' and then again in the evening before whoever is on duty leaves for the day. In fact, yesterday two of us spent the entire day cleaning it from top to bottom - now that we have hit the quieter season we have more time to dedicate to this. We are only a very small team of 3 staff with a maximum of two on at any one time to run the entire site which includes 6 glamping units which need cleaning with a regular turnover, as well as check ins, answering the phone, manning the shop and taking bookings. We're sorry you didn't feel the cleaning regime was up to standard though, and we will take this on board.

Unbeliebt: Not the campsites fault and It can’t be helped at this time of year, but the tent pitches were quite muddy, so just be prepared and take a tarp for your entrance!
