Everything the site is lovely each pitch has electric water and waste which is great, shower block was brand new! Only a 10 minute walk into town and 2 minutes to the lake.

The friendly welcoming staff , who were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and things to do. A well kept site with amazing amenities.

This is our 2nd time at Pen Y Bont and we are returning again in a few months. 10 star rating from me! The site is just so beautiful well kept, well equipped, you would not get a better toilet/laundry building anywhere... always immaculate. No litter anywhere and lovely families all having fun ( no phoes/games in hand) staff absolutely lovely and on hand always to advise/help or anything. Cannot wait to return in June knowing our stay will once again be perfect and it gives us a central location to visit all beaches/villages/waterfalls and so on... thankyou so much for your perfect site ❤️

Beautiful well cared for site, the new shower block covers all your requirements.
The welcome from the team was great, couldn't be more helpful. Lovely walks around the lake and into town..
So enjoyed the stay, booked for 2026 whilst there..

A wonderful site in beautiful surroundings. Pitches are well laid out, each with dedicated power, water and drainage. The shower and washing up facilities are some of the nicest we've ever used. The staff were also very friendly and helpful when we needed to borrow some tools. We will be returning in future if we're in the area again.

The only minor things were the washing up sinks are a little bit high and there was a very slight smell from the farm over the road, but nothing bad enough to spoil our stay.

Absolutely loved this site!! We’ve done a lot of sites over the years and this is our favourite! Friendly staff on arrival and was on hand for any questions on walks we could do. The lake is just stunning and then a short walk into town. The site is spotless showers one of the best we’ve had with underfloor heating. Waking up in the morning and seeing the little lambs and sheep chasing around the field was truly special.

The campsite in general was perfect. The facilities (toilets/showers) were great. The campsite was in a perfect spot as it was only a short walk into Bala (10mins if that) which is a lovely place. Then also you have Bala lake too which is only a very short walk (5mins if that). The lady in reception was also very helpful and welcoming. This was our first time camping and we will be back! Thanks for a great stay.

Amazing and friendly service and the facilities spotless and well maintained. Received a warm and friendly welcome and the team couldn't do enought. Located 5 minutes walk from Bala Lake and 15 from Bala centre. The facilities are perfectly maintained with clean showers and toilets.
