Lovely welcome & customer serviceUnbeliebt: The only slight negative was on our second to last night there was a big group of 35 (one of them told me there was that many of them) who were really loud playing music and shouting etc until past half 12
The next night they were alot quieter and the music couldnt be heard so they may have been told that the night before wasnt acceptable but it was such a contrast to the rest of our week as it had been so quiet and peaceful

We spent 11 days here and thoroughly enjoyed our trip!
The bathrooms were cleaned at least 3 times a day and were really nice, with good lighting.
The washing up area was always clean.
The pitches were clean and a good size.
The family and staff running the place were very friendly and helpful! Always happy to stop for a chat!
Excellent base for visiting waterfalls, beaches, white water rafting centre, Zip World, cycling (5 minutes to town with plenty of shops and restaurants/cafes).
Bala lake just 3 minutes walk from the tent!
5 minutes cycle to the beach with water sports for hire or permit holders (purchase from the machine). Also a cafe.
Bala railway also 3 minutes from the tent.
Plenty of walks and Snowdon of course.
We were prepared to drive an hour to destinations of interest and fun.
We also had a dog with us who also enjoyed her trip as, bar 2 restaurants, everywhere was dog friendly!
We were extremely lucky with the weather and didn’t have to resort to rainy days activities!
All in all I’d definitely recommend!Unbeliebt: –

As for a children's playground, we don't advertise that we have one as there are 2 very good ones a short walk from the site, we could have pointed you in the right direction if we were asked. We are also a very popular site and get very busy in the summer months, maybe a spring holiday would suit you better.
