The camp lay out and liked the water sports park

Arrived on the Wednesday and everything seemed to be well, went for a shower and the main block was shut so they had more showers next door but they were awfull, had to press the button every 4 secs so hard washing ur hair with one hand, no grab rail when stepping out and not mat , slipped over. No one around to report it to.went home on the sat so during that time the toilets were not cleaned or toilet roll refilled, bins weren’t emptied in toilet area, went to disabled shower and no hot water and even there was no loo roll.
Lost electric hook up for a few hours and turn my food off as were not informed.

Lovely location. Peaceful yet very close to lots of fun. Excellent facilities, friendly staff, well organised, bonus freshly cooked pizza on Fridays ( amazing) 🍕. Most importantly, my 2 boys absolutely loved their first ever camping experience… thank you. Will visit again 😀

We found the delux glamping pod to be clean and comfortable, ideal for our two-night visit.

We've been previous times before with no issues but unfortunately there were some noisy people in an opposite pod making some noise. They did eventually quieten down, but not what we expected. Not the parks fault

Helpfull staff, we asked for a change of pitch, nearer to facilities and we were given pitch 78, we almost had the field to our selves.

Plenty of pitches available and a variety of standards. Hedges separate the pitch sections to add privacy and protect from the wind. Pitches are flat stoned areas with grass to relax on at the side.
Friday night was Pizza night and a company comes as no sets up selling a range of pizzas.
A new shower/ toilet block near the shop was quite new so investment has been done for the site.
Staff friendly and helpful. Any queries were answered fully and made to feel as welcome as possible.

The shop stored a good variety of basic essentials like sanitary, cleaning products, soft drinks, crisps, sweets and cereals which was great. Not a dislike but maybe a wider range of food which is more filling like sandwiches and pasties/pies would be better.

Power issues. Micro blackouts. Facilities are fine but nothing else there apart from a basic shop

It was nice for the local walks nearby and watching the water activities not far away.

It was advertised as having a park but the park had no slide and not very good for younger children. Alittle disappointing that we didn’t see anyone for our entire stay, self check in. The shower block was basic but clean. Luckily we were pitched a few caravans down from it but because of the bad weather we had lots of people driving to the toilets with their only being 1 toilet block. This was not great for the kids playing out as the cars/ vans were driving over to the block from the other end of the site parking and reversing where the kids were crossing to the field. Because of the bad rain our pitch flooded the awning.
