We booked a hard standing without realising it was fully hard standing with any grass around. In arriving we realised it would not be suitable as it was loose stone with a baby, 8 year old and a dog. After going to reception we managed to switch to a grass pitch.

Facilities were horrendous, unclean full of cobwebs (watch your head!) even after them been apparently cleaned you wouldn’t think so.
Site advertises there is an amazing looking play park, in fact there is a small wooden one for younger children. The large play park is a 15 / 20 min walk away from the camp site passed the water, and up near the activity centre.

Has a very basic shop, but don’t rely on it as there isn’t much.

There is not a lot to do on the site. Maintenance prefer to remove the rope swings and stick built dens that children built because they where bored seen as the big park was not near by then clean up the massive amount of litter around site or spend a little more time cleaning the toilets/showers.

Has a massive amount of potential with the right management to arrange it.

Large pitches, clean park in general

Facilities are disgusting and dirty. Sanitary bins over floweing, sanitary products left on the floor for days, showers mouldy & dirty.

Proximity to Holme Pierrepont and friendly staff, I like that one of them came round to ask if everything was ok. I reported the issue with the shower tray not draining which she said she would get someone to take a look at. The park was really good for the kids

We were close to the drains, and could occasionally smell them. Toilets and showers needed to be cleaned more regularly and bin needed to be emptied every day in the women’s toilet. Also, would like to have seen the site being litter picked, there was unfortunately a lot of rubbish around which is the fault of the campers but needed cleaning up.

Too many spiders in the toilets, not your fault but if someone could remove a few it would alleviate a lot of fear

Half the activies are no longer running which was really dissapointing for the kids.

Pitch was big enough and level... showers very good. The country park and activities were very good.

We arrived and had to pick up liter, nearly half a carrier bag. Toilet tissue on the field. Toilets were undesirable. Ran out of loo roll. There was a code for the toilets presumably to keep children out, but the door was never locked. Definitely not enough facilities for the amount of campers. No one actually patrolled the campsite. We were kept awake until 1:30 in the morning with a large group that were extremely loud. Only the shop to complain to. They did the same the following night but nit quite as late.

Great site and facilities 10-15 minutes out of Nottingham

spacious pitches, electric hook up worked great. shower and toilets very clean good standard. workers coming to clean and fix regularly. park was nice and a handy little shop.

first pitch electric was too far away in the trees. spoke to a member of staff who helped me nice pitch. quickly sorted and friendly staff

Pitches were decent size and the site was quite well kept.
Short walk to the watersports centre. Friendly reception staff.

The toilets and showers were filthy the whole time we were there.
Some of the toilet locks aren't very good and my daughter got stuck.
There were a lot of big groups being a bit rowdy and lots of loud music being played until late.
No WiFi
The staff didn't know how the pitches are numbered so we had to change pitch to be together.

Nice and quiet, decent showers. Good sized playground for the kids. Friendly staff.

My partner said every time she went to the toilets/showers they was either flooded or dirty.
