Lovely spacious pitches which are ideal for big family tents. Showers were great really powerful and hot. Although toilets were laid out well could do with being separated into male/female.
Honesty shop was brilliant!

Ground was just constantly wet despite nice weather, field not very well drained also grass is very long.
Quite a loud/noisy site at night due to big groups of people and also no vehicle rules regarding driving between certain times.
Hand wash basins had limited hot water taps working.

Lovely camp site, friendly staff easy going. Loved the honesty shop had everything you needed. Showers and toilet facilities were nice and clean. And water hot!! Would recommend to anyone especially families with young kids

This is a beautiful campsite in the North of Devon. The facilities are clean and tidy, the showers are constant and really hot, and the honesty shop is a great idea! Make sure you bring plenty of cash! I am new to the camping scene and I actually quite enjoyed a shower in the great outdoors.

Everything was perfect! The pitch size was large, plenty of space between tents, slip and slide was great fun for kids and adults!
Rocky was extremely accommodating. The on site honesty shop was perfect with everything you need.

The pitches were level and the campsite was not massively busy. There are plenty of sinks for washing up (about 6) and about 10 toilets and showers with 6 sinks to wash hands. The sinks were always clean when we went to use them, the water tap for all pitches is next to the sinks mounted onto the wall on the shower block side.

There is a little shop with an “honesty box” in it for payment, we didn’t go inside but from the outside we spied pot noodles, games for kids, skittles and other things. Decent if you’re in a little pickle. As a young couple this is not applicable to us but the campsite had a massive inflatable slip and slide going down the hill that a few kids literally spent all day on. It looked pretty safe, pool area at the end so they don’t go flying off it! So if your a family/parents that would want a few minutes peace this might be a good site for you!

The campsite was one of the cheaper ones we stopped at on our Cornwall roadtrip, but it was good value for money.

Having said that, the toilets and showers are outside in small cabin type structures so you do share them with spiders and other wildlife! BUT the water was always warm and they don’t time out which is very nice for if you have to wash your hair! Nothing worse than having to keep pressing the buttons.

Please note the signal is not amazing here for phones, so downloading films etc is advisable.

Overall, this is a very decent campsite though! Seemed fairly newly built

I know it is liken to a wild camping site but I think possibly the washing sinks should be in enclosures, like the showers just to give privacy to those who may want it

Added bonus of the slip slide at the top of the hill which the kids absolutely loved!

Lovely site with so many brilliant added extras. From a mini shop with things from locally sourced produce to games for the children. A beautifully made children’s play area and massive waterslide. Electrical hook ups throughout the site and fabulous toilet and shower block, with the awesome addition of washing machines, tumble dryers and a hair dryer all available. Dog friendly site with an additional field to let your dog have a run around in.
All in all a fabulous site with lovely guy Rocky who runs it. 100% recommend to everyone.
