Staff friendly always doing maintenance round the site. Free WiFi worked well for all our browsing. Location so good for joining cycles paths and walks along river banks. 20 min walk into Hoddesdon for supermarkets and shops. Bonus fireworks close by at midnight for seeing in the New Year.

Unbeliebt: We booked and paid online. On arrival we checked in to reception and the receptionist confirmed our motorhome and towcar registration numbers. Upon our return home, we received a parking fine from Parking Eye for apparently illegally parking at the campsite during our stay. I phoned the campsite and the receptionist said it was an error and she would deal with it. We then received a second notice from Parking Eye threatening legal action if we did not pay. I phoned the site again and they told me to appeal, sending proof of booking etc., which I did. 2 weeks later I received a letter from Parking Eye saying that our appeal has been turned down as the proof was inadequate! I phoned the site again and someone from the reception emailed a confirmation that the fine has been cancelled. I'm just waiting for more correspondence from Parking Eye. Needless to say, I will not be booking this site again in the future.

Would definitely recommend and stay there again if un the area

It was really well appointed with everything we needed. Toilets and shower block were nice and clean
