Booked a 3 night stay & did an extra night not wanting to leave. A lovely farm site. Very peaceful with large, tidy fields & clean amenities. Bangin' shower. Great night in the bar with Jeanette & Jason. Lovely 20 minute drive into York. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed with our caravan for the weekend and we will definitely come back. It’s a lovely quiet site, the toilets and showers was clean. The ski club was so friendly and welcoming. They let us take take rides on their boats which my little girl absolutely loved. They was also friendly when we went to the bar the ski club took time to come speak to us and make us feel so welcome. It’s because of the ski club that we will be back as we thoroughly enjoyed our selves

Large field, flat. Good showers and toilets.

Lovely little find. Nice and relaxed on the side of a river. We only stayed for 1 night but would love to go back and explore more nearby. The onsite bar was a great addition which was very warm and welcoming by the lady behind the bar and even went out of her way to sort a bowl of water out for our dogs.

The road up to the site is a little run down and bumper but fine if you take care.

Been here twice now and both times we have loved it. It’s very peaceful and have friendly staff

Only thing I would say that needs improvement is the showers the women showers are nice but the men’s are hot and cold

Very good campsite. Stayed here previously and managed to book it last minute as another campsite fell through. Good facilities (could do with some more toilets/showers) but lovely location and the pub is a great addition. Great open space.

Really lovely place, out of way of everything but easily accessible by car, toilets were clean just an evening floors were muddy but that didn’t affect stay as we wore footwear which I would of done even if it was sparkling. Washing up area was clean and drinking water on site (didn’t use) and the lovely guy at the small little club so a few drinks of an evening and they are reasonable priced. And watch the hundreds of ducks as you come on lane as they like to sit in road 🤣

Nothing to do with site or who ran it just a few campers that had screaming teens and thought they owned the site when they came on and screaming into the night (parents didn’t seem to have control of them, I had 5 kids of all ages and all was respectful of hours and other campers) and an old guy from the caravans that stopped his silver car in front of my young daughter whilst she waited for him to pass to cross and then she had to walk around him not properly being able to see around car if anything else was coming which was so rude of him so his wife didn’t have to walk a few extra steps to get in car.

The location was beautiful

Everything was a bit tired and the club house was quite noisy.
We paid less for sites with better facilities in comparible locations.
