Free to choose your own tent location in campsite. Very big campsite. We can check in very late and having a staff there to help.

But the facilities are little bit simple. No light at toilets and you have to use flashlight.

Nice flat pitches. Fairly quiet whilst we were there. The owner was pleasant and showed us to our pitch making sure we were happy with it. The showers and toilets are separate and in different parts of the field. They are basic but adequate. The vanity sink could do with a shelf, hooks for hanging toiletry bags/towels and a mirror.

There were no plugs in the washing up sinks or vanity sink so unless you have a bowl you cannot mix the hot and cold water (and the water is very hot). I saw people washing up with both taps constantly running. The toilets were sometimes lacking toilet roll and there were no hand towels during our stay.

It was a very tidy quiet camp site with working facilities

The welcome was poor. The site was closed at 6.30 and no staff to greet us. Had to call to gain entry and reception only open Monday to Friday 9 to 5. The pitch was pop as had to pitch on a drain and the ground was lumpy. The electric didn't work and th staff attitude was poor. The showers were full.if surface water and not that clean. The toilets ran out or toilet paper pretty quickly. Overall not a good experience.

After reading the most recent reviews we were a bit wary. But we found the camp well laid out and relaxing. Electrics worked fine and toilets and showers had hot water and were well kept.

The welcome by the staff felt very rushing. We got there 10 minutes before check in finished and the person was near enough driving off. There were a few dogs on site that were not on the lead and it felt that it was the done thing. We don't mind dogs but if you are nervous of dogs maybe not ideal. Make sure you bring toilet roll as all the toilets run out.

Location was great for exploring the local area. Pitches were level.

The facilities were extremely poor. Very dirty showers that flooded and equally dirty toilets that also flooded frequently. Toilet roll was sparse, we had to buy our own and no paper towels or air driers to dry your hands. We had a day of rain and the entrance to the field completely flooded making it very muddy and impassable on foot.
The site has great potential but is in need of a serious update to the facilities and drainage.

1. Unsupervised children screaming at each other until 10.30 at night, toddlers swearing at your own children, unleashed dogs trying to bite your ankles as you cross the field, and leaving soft brown presents everywhere for you to discover during your late night toilet visits.
Our neighbours arrived at 10am one morning, and by 10pm the same day packed up and left. They were clearly not enjoying the party as much as we did. 2. Showers - outlet extends around 2.5 inches from the wall. You can either stand with your heels in the gutter and let the water run down the back of your neck, or press your forehead against the wall and let the water run down your nose. The only exception was one lovely overhead shower on the right of the block, but it did not drain well so you can look forward to standing in your own and others dirty shower water after a couple of minutes. Nice for soaking those tired feet at the end of a long day.
3. Single sink in the shower block has no nearby hooks, no mirror, no plug and hot/cold push-on taps. If you want a shave or to brush your hair after a shower, you'll need to balance your towel and toiletries precariously on the edge of the sink, and shave or brush by feel alone. You also will have a choice of only scalding or cold water, you can't mix them or fill the sink. It makes for a high stakes Jenga game, trying to extract items of toiletry without your towel or items hitting the floor or landing in the sink. I get it though, hooks are very expensive items!
4. Toilets. Bring your own toilet roll and hand-wash, the toilets will have run out of both more often than not. Also, on one occasion all 5 of the ladies toilets were clogged at the same time. Fortunately I'm a guy, so I was fine!
5. Some pitches are very small and right next to the service road in and out. We started off here, but having a constant stream of cars two feet from the front of our tent wasn't very enjoyable. We moved into the larger, rear field as it was more relaxing.
6. The drinking water hose is so long it trails in the mud. You'll need to extract it from the mud before inserting it into your water storage container. There is also no block or stand to out your water storage unit in, so that too will need to sit in the mud while you fill it. Drinking water can ofrwn be a bit bland, so this was a nice touch to add a bit of flavour and texture.

The facilities were very limited for the number of pitches. The pitches were very close to one another and unfortunately several pitches were used by ‘travelers’.
On our last night it rained and the complete camp site flooded with huge great lakes of water.

Lots of space for kids to play, gated entry, plenty of toilets. Good location for the New Forest and local beaches. Pitches were adequately spaced. Two washing up areas which was sufficient most of the time. One Stop shop 5 mins away. We could have paid much more but the site was adequate for us.

Lack of toilet roll in the morning and late at night, flooded showers most nights but they were warm. An upgrade is needed to their facilities but we knew that before we booked. Could have done with another drinking water tap but we managed.
