Good sized pitch with plenty of space for the kids to play in front, would book again! Staff and regular residents were all very friendly and inviting.

No water pressure under shower, so taking shower was quite challenging

Arrived and there was nobody at reception. Paid for electric pitches and on arrival there was no electric points available, had to wait a while for a breaker. 2 toilet blocks. One looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time, no toilet roll, broken floors and only 2 available. The other a lot cleaner but only 2 in there and for such a large site definitely not enough. Then neither available to use at 8am as one locked and one being cleaned

Location to cycle path and West Moors country park / new forest.

Some of the pitches are hired out to contractors who leave early and stay up late without considering other guests. They have an ice cream van do the rounds and whilst my son was queuing to get an ice cream he was almost hit by a speeding car, when questioned the fault seemed to lie with me and not the car ignoring the site speed limit. Not enough facilities for a site this big. Lady in reception was friendly but rarely seen to be taking any action. There was also a lack of electric points for tourers so it was lucky dip to return to find your caravan plugged in or not. No WiFi, not even when close to the reception building.

No dramas site no frills enjoyed our stay great base for touring around toilets in main field were a bit iffy but there are two others that were very clean.showers were ok but lacking pressure don’t expect 5 star we were very happy pitch was good size have seen a lot of bad reports but we were more than happy with 4 day stay

Toilets in tent field

Quiet in the evening. Easy to get to.

Men’s toilet had no toilet roll or paper hand towel. The reception was not signed very well.

An honest campsite with easy access to Ringwood Forest and the beaches. Given that we were visiting friends in Verwood, location could not have been more ideal! Sneaking into Moors Valley via Potterne meant parking was free and a good day out.

Will be returning since we were more than satisfied with what was provided and the pure convince of its location.

We were guided to our pitch after calling the reception the second time and it was plain sailing after we had our pin access given for the gate.

Very good value and if you wanted creature comforts, the garden centre is across the fence.

Space was more than adequate when we went and weren't really disturbed (apart from the random barking from dogs, which I wasn't too fussed about).

Use this site as your base camp and you'll be having a good time. My family enjoyed our stay here.

We were expecting a farmer's field, so met our expectations. However, you might want to bear in mind that the site is dog friendly, so you might hear the occasional yelp or bark in the middle of the night.

The other people's negative reviews on cleanliness are down to user error. Showers were all supplied with mops, so I guess it pays to be courteous to leave it in a good state for the next camper.

Also, if you've got young toddlers, bring your own entertainment. If you want play equipment, there's Moors Valley a short hop away.

A quiet site with large pitches around the outer edges of fields, with open space in the middle.
Stone free ground, great for tent pitching.
Plenty of taps close to the pitches.
Nice toilets a short walk from the tent field.

Despite a month of heavy rain the grass for pitches was in good condition. There were some very muddy patches around gateways, but this didn’t cause a problem.

Some nice areas for short quiet walks around the site.

The toilet (singular) closest to the tent field needs renovation, but the slightly further away toilets were good.

While the site has Wi-Fi and password was provided, the signal is very poor in the tent field making it unusable on this occasion.

Some pot holes in the grass on pitching areas which could do with filling.
