Excellent toilet facilities-spotlessly clean with a hot, powerful shower. We had our own toilet/shower meaning we could leave all our toiletries, towels there for the duration.
The kitchen is also spotlessly clean and we did not see a single other person use it!
The doggy shower is very useful after muddy walks.
The location of the wigwam was great-felt quite private and was a pretty spot.
There are lovely walks you can do straight from the site.

Location and flexibility of arrival and departure

Dispite the emails about our personal bathroom others seemed to use it and leave a mess! Our own key for bathroom block would be better. Also couldn't turn benches into double bed not sure what we were doing wrong???

Only a minor one but a lot of bright lights on site so hard to see any of the night sky after dark, though appreciate some will prefer well lit at night.

Beautiful location, set in woodland, on a very quiet and secluded site on the farm, the hot tub was private and a few metres from the wigwam. Fishing and mountain biking were so much fun, the kids loved it! Shower and toilet facilities were excellent and very close, and the kitchen was well provisioned too (and always quiet). Staff were very friendly.

There are lots of options, but the wigwam we chose was basic. Suited us, and no complaint whatsoever, but this was not glamping (beds comfy though, small heater, fridge and microwave)

We love everything abt the place. We are family of five so need a place that can fit all five of us. Our wigwam was jst nice for it. They gave us our own bathroom with 2 toilets & a shower room, it was a really huge bonus for us.
They also have a laundry/drying room with a dryer/washing machines to use for a small charge. That room was really useful as it was raining most of our stay.
We cannot cook in the wigwam but they provided a small fridge, a microwave and a kettle and our own picnic bench, we use it to cook whn the weather was a bit nice.
They also have a communal kitchen to use with everything provided too (pots/cutleries/cooker with oven/microwave, toaster and kettle). Inside the communal kitchen, there were dining tables and some sofas ( it was really comfortable n warm in there☺️)
Also they provided a bike storage which my husband really like!
We wld love to stay there again nxt time.

The pods were equipped with everything we needed. The website contained a huge amount of detail on what to bring with us and what was nearby to do.The hot tub was nice and secluded. The private bathroom was a really nice touch. Everything was beautifully clean. Staff were super friendly and supported when I had car troubles.

Building my own camp fire on the first night!! But with practice I got better!!

We had a fantastic stay and we hired bikes to cycle to Kippford, we had a lovely meal at the Anchor. We also did the catch and release fishing which Paul helped us with. The facilities were clean and it was a good setup. Our pod was lovely and private, we stayed in the Larch pod. It was the perfect relaxing weekend and we would highly recommend

My daughter and I had the most amazing stay after her exams. The cabin was fabulous, it kept us nicely warm at night and my daughter absolutely loved the hot tub! The location was so peaceful and it was a great relaxing trip. The owners where wonderful and really helpful, showing us how to fire up the hot tub and making sure we had everything we needed. We hired bikes one day from the site and were able to go into the forest next door to ride so this was a great addition. The whole site was really great and clean. We loved our trip and have been raving about it to everyone we know.
