Absolutely loved this site! Booked for its proximity, in-between London and Wales for a meeting place for friends with our young children. We stayed in lodge 1 to save wasting time putting up tents etc and it was absolutely great! Right next door to a newly built toilet/shower/washing up/ fridge storage block and the lodges had everything that we needed, we were worried that they may be a little chilly at night but can confirm they were super cosy! Great space for the kids to play in safety and opposite a gorgeous reserve with playground and lovely lakes. This place also had a gorgeous cafe with an abundance of Gluten Free goodies to choose from - I was in my element!
We arrived on a Saturday and took advantage of the takeaway service - food was stunning - homemade, hot and delicious! We ordered a mix of stuff between 6 of us; burgers. pizzas and the Thai curry and confirm it was all really tasty. Site is run by Adam and family who were super helpful and kind, whilst being relaxed and easy to be around! Thank you guys - we will definitely be back next year if not before!

We had a amazing time, the campsite was brilliant and the owners where so lovely, kind and just really down to earth and on Friday and Saturday they serve food which was delicious all home made and good value for money, they even have a games room for kids and adults to play ping pong, darts, football table etc and it was perfect it really was, if I could give it more stars then I would, it really was a great little campsite to visit and so close to some amazing places you can go visit on day trips out, will definitely be going back again.

Amazing small site with great features. Loved the access to the take away, communal fridge/freezer and fire pits. Family run by very friendly staff who are always on hand. A great little find, will be returning:-)

Some road noise which we got used to.

This is a lovely little site and the on-site take-away is a handy bonus, Adam is very friendly and welcoming. The games room is an unusual benefit and will be very welcome on poor weather days or for kids.

A bit pricey for a pitch that has no electric hookup and given the level of available facilities. No wi-fi (that I'm aware of) for tent pitches, only the clamping accommodation, but these days I think wi-fi should be considered a basic requirement.

Really lovely campsite with great facilities! The games room was a real hit for us. We forgot our camping stove so on our first night got food from the Fox takeaway which was incredible! We had a great stay

Incredible facilities, friendly owners, good size pitches, level ground, good selection of food and drink on site. This was our first camping trip with our little one and it was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. We’ll be back!

Myself and two friends booked to camp one night stay to see a concert at Longleat. Didn’t really know what to expect. What a lovely surprise to find a dear little caring family run sight. All those little things are thought of to make your stay a comfortable breeze. We would highly recommend this little gem, and so close to Longleat. Thank you until next time.

The site is very clean and has really friendly owners. All amenities you could require inc a fridge and microwave etc. lovely green location and a short drive a way from Longleat where we were watching a concert. It’s also close to Lilleys cider farm…. Win win!
Favourite part for me was no cars on the campsite area but had wheelbarrows and trolleys to cart the kit over (short distance anyway) but nice with no vehicles.
