Excellent clean and spacious pitch with tremendous views and sunsets. Shower facilities were excellent. Very clean warm and modern. Excellent location for exploring places nearby. Kit hill just up the road and Tamar trails just a bit further afield for walking the dogs.

First splash of shower was freezing. Also found the push button system didn’t stay on long enough for each push.

Amazing views. Very quiet and peaceful as no children allowed. Good size pitch and level. Very tidy. Friendly staff in cafe, where you go to check in. Gorgeous cream teas with fluffy scones. Bathroom facilities the cleanest and nicest looking I've stayed in. Heated towel rail was lovely. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

It pains me to criticize but I was unable to use the shower more than the once I tried. Shower cubicle was too small, to turn on the water you need the shower door open but the fixed shower head made the water go all over the floor. No tray inside for bottles. It got my hair all wet as it sprayed directly onto my head. It was such a shame as it looked so well kept and clean. When I come again I will bring spare old towels to put on the floor (the mop provided couldn't cope!) and will use a shower cap. And maybe I will have to lose a few stone to squeeze through the gap.

A very good campsite. Clean and tidy with level, hardstanding pitches. We only had a little bit of contact with the staff but they were very friendly and helpful.
There is a lovely restaurant on site but we didn't have time to use it during our stay. Maybe next time! We will be happy to stay there again.

Able to park our 12m/39ft RV, although the entrance from the road is difficult (only possible from one direction, not both). Road up to the pitches is narrow for an RV, but pitch size/space is excellent.

The restaurant on site is busy and excellent.

Being unable to dump black waste as there is no facility accessible for a vehicle our size. The dump area is around the rear of a building and getting the RV to that building is not possible. Other sites have offered to remove/lift drain covers to allow dumping, but they 'can't open drain covers' on this site, plus the visible drains are in grass areas where RV would not want to go.

Ease of access, nice pitch, very pleasant welcome, nice bathrooms/washing facilities.

it's not a dislike, but I may have missed finding a path to get to the peak of Kit Hill from the site? This would be a huge asset to the site if there was one.
