Location, good pitch size although most on slope, music and bar

No toilet roll, every morning the man cleaning chained his dog up and it howled.

Lovely sized pitch right next to the river. Peaceful and calm watching the river meander by. Perfect for fishing and a lovely walk for our dog along the river. Durtal js a pretty town, with local shops and a well stocked supermarket and garage just down the road. We arrived late after a delay on the shuttle, this wasn’t a problem and Sophie helped wonderfully. Highly recommended.

Quiet shaded pitches, many of them overlook the river Loir which is a peaceful thing to have trickling away in the background.

washing facilities for pots and pans were excellent, they struck me as a recent refurbishment to the building

well laid out grounds, you never felt too close or far away from others

the toilets are unisex - this is not a dislike but a to be aware of for others

riverside pitches had a waist-high hedge resulting in anyone over 5 foot being able to look and stare into the pitch(and doing so often). - again this is not a major dislike, just a be aware

the showers does not have adjustable tempreature. A shame really, for me the shower was barely above lukewarm, and coming from an eco centred campsite before with adjustable tempreatures it was a change.

electrical hookup was for us 3 pitches down from where we were. It may be my own experience but many of the other campsites in france have an electrical hookup between 2 pitches, here it was a little more spread out, with the number sharing never more than 4, but you sometimes had to walk the cable quite some distance.

Warm welcome and lovely private, pretty pitches. Very tranquil location with a glimpse of the river & easy access to Riverside walk to the town. Very clean sanitaires. Great little bar & a mobile food truck selling delicious lasagne & salads. Bikes and canoes for hire. We could only stay one night this time, but would definitely like to return for a longer stay. Thank you!

An absolutely delightful site. The pitch overlooked the river. So beautiful and peaceful. Within walking distance of the town. Well organised and amazing value for money. Would definitely return.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was not as close as we thought and hadn't realised it was a public pool. You had to get a card each day if you wanted to go. The lady at the desk seemed to be the only one working as we wanted to hire bikes but unless we went early morning she wasn't going to be around until early afternoon. So we left it as we were not sure what time we were going to get up.

Friendly service,mature well kept pitches and a stunning location and perfect amenities.

Incredibly friendly, professional and helpful staff. Fantastic facilities and sizeable and level pitches that offered some privacy. Proximity to amenities, cities, towns, forests. The combination of all of the above not found too often at this price point.
