The area

The pitch we were allocated was like a bog. We appreciated that there'd been a lot of rain but the rest of the campsite was ok. Regardless of the weather which wasn't too bad but not amazing the site fees were very overpriced. Have been to much better for half the cost

The scenery, the river and shop.

Not the best toilet/shower facilities. Very muddy and pot holed paths. Not worth the price we paid.

Location.
A staff (gentlemen) helped us to fix the pool table a few time. He is polite and kind.

The land is not flat. If we put things on the table. It was rolled to another side. And many tents arranged too close. It was not quiet place.

Bryn Gloch is always organised,friendly and efficient with their booking, changes and arrivals.
We needed to add a dog and Charlie was super helpful.
It was our first time not camping as only 1 night so opted for the eas eof their new shepherds hut.
What a pleasant surprise, super clean and tidy. Very basic, bed table and sofa bed. Lots of plugs including USB so fab for phones.
Hooks and a TV with Netflix!! Winner!!
It's just a little upgrade from a tent as you take all your own bedding and cooking equipment.

Downside is that it's on a thoroughfare into the site, not an issue for noise but with 2 dogs who like to guard their family, the flimsy blinds were a bit gappy so everyone could see in and the dogs could see lots of movement, therefore didn't settle🙈
Would help if the blinds were fixed maybe? Also the hooks were behind the TV pretty much so hanging a wet coat up wasn't ideal.
And perhaps a tiny little cupboard to put your food or cooking bits in would be helpful under the table?
But this isn't a complaint as I know huts are new, more of a helpful observation and not deal breakers at all!

Love the site, the views, the freedom my kids can have. Love the location to towns and little villages! This was our 4th trip to your site, this time we bought extended family in their tent.

This time we disliked the unbelievable wind of storm Betty! Can not believe the carnage it left. The families tent blew down next to us, as many others - thankfully they were able to take sanctuary in our caravan!
Our brand new awning ripped clean off the van at the seam!

The site was amazing, the staff was friendly, the loos and showers was cleaned everyday, we had a tent pitch with older and younger children children they were both covered with wifi and a play area, they have a games room, TV room, a shop and laundrette on site too also do a food catering at certain times and days, there are many walks around the site it was so peaceful and friendly, a ice cream van even come round too, so much to do and the local shopping centre wasn't to far aswel as beaches

I couldn't say anything was wrong at all, maybe alittle pricey for us as we usually don't pay that much but for all that's on site it was worth it

A real gem of a campsite which we will definitely be returning too.
Great location. Only a short drive from the Snowdon Ranger path for climbing Snowdon and we found ample parking, even in August.
Site is super clean and regularly saw staff litter picking and shower blocks cleaned regularly and to a high standard. Pitch was plenty big enough for our 6 person tent, trailer, car and outdoor seating.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The shop sells all the basics and you can hire a fire pit for £5 a night. Bag of logs was also £5 and kept us going for two nights of marshmallow roasting!
Very little traffic on site and everyone was careful so felt ok to let kids roam and ride their bikes.
We pitched near the river which was lovely and shallow enough for paddling and the odd rope swing.
Overall a real gem and so family friendly with the policy of no large groups or noise after 10pm which everyone seems to adhere to. We have kids aged 5 and 8 and would recommend to anyone with young children.

After walking snowdon the shower were amazing! Would definitely recommend this camp site
Also full credit to the staff who was around the site cleaning and checking on people though the storm & the lovely staff in the butty van for still opening despite the rain and winds to provide well needed hot foot and drinks
