lovely site, very friendly warden

The park was really nice and apart from the first night when there was a lot of young people camping as a group , the toilets and showers were kept clean, although where we were sited . The showers were really good and hot water with wall hair dryers.The setting is fabulous and very quiet. the cherry on the cake were the fantastic staff who were really pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We didnt have particularly good weather on our stay, but I bet its good place to be when the weather is good. I would definitely recommend stating here. Lots of birdlife

I wouldn't have wanted to stay there when it was really busy as there was only 2 toilets and 2 showers at our end of the (there were more facilities at the other end of the site)n Wifi wasn,t very strong, I had to log in every time I wanted to use it.We couldn't get a TV signal at all , but not sure if this was us or the site. Difficulty on leaving as the roads nearby were narrow and we met a bus, which was very challenging and we caused a fairly long traffic jam. We found it a bit too remote as we are not walkers.

Put onto the muddiest, wettest field and the facilities could have done with being clean more often due to the mud.

Such a beautiful setting and well located to other areas.

Pitches were a bit uneven, toilet and shower facilities could be better.

Fab facilities, close to lovely scenery and lakes to swim/paddle board and lovely pubs. The staff were lovely and the site was well maintained. We have a puppy who loved the river that runs through the back and a lovely dog walk. We all enjoyed our stay! I would love to return!!

We weren’t told where the drinking water was, which wasn’t so much a bad thing, but it wasn’t on the map either. Turns out there are regular water taps around the campsite.

We were pitched on field 6.
We called it 'mudbaths'.
Most of pitches on field 6 were extremely wet. I can blame the weather partially for it.
Although the road around the field
was only hard track with potholes (other roads were made of tarmac).
Our pitch and next pitches in row were uneven. We had a big puddle in the middle of it. Although we managed to pitch away from it but very close to our neighbours around 1m apart.
The verge of the track and pitch was paddle/mud hard to jump over.
It needs looking at those issues.
If you think of booking maybe try to avoid mudbaths.
I must add it was the most expensive camping site per night this year we paid.
We camped 11 times this year including France.

Liked the area and staff was very friendly

The tent pitch was a bit uneven and not flat so when it rained, the water pooled underneath the tent.

Very easy to find which we didn't except for area with low signal.

Plenty of facilities dotted around the place so no one place ever seemed busy with everywhere being very clean and tidy.

Just overall seemed a very well fun family freidnly Campsite.

Beautiful scenery, lovely river running through for kids to play. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Park was well maintained and facilities were clean. Perfect location for walkers and to explore more of wales. Cannot wait to return.
