The staff were pleasant and welcoming when we checked in, the pitch was a good size and tidy, great location next to the lake, only there for one night so didn't get a chance to use the lake, toilet and shower block were clean and well maintained, and a visit to the van by the ducks was very nice.

The place is generally lovely - right on the banks of the lake. There are some semi-permanent touring pitches on the far side where the touring hardstanding spots are. I am sure in the summer this is a popular and busy spot.
We arrived after hours on a Friday and after a courtesy call on the way, the staff had left our instructions by the reception with directions to our EHU spot.
These are hard standing and with ample space. We were in a spot where the EHU were 10m in either direction so we JUST managed to get plugged in after repositioning the campervan. No complaints though the site's write-up does state this (although we got the last socket each day!). It RAINED like heck the first night and we awoke with the van in the middle of a big puddle. It's low-lying ground so not much to be done there - maybe drainage? We had no problem though and by the time we returned in the evening most of the puddle had gone.
The toilet facilities were fine for what we needed. Warm, hot water, with 3x cubicles, 3x hot showers and 3x basins. Washing up is under a shelter with 3x large deep steel sinks and hot water.
But for such a short stay in the autumn this caused us no problems aside from wrinkled noses. I would like to stay here again and explore the site more. We used it as a base to visit the National Space Centre which is about 30-40 minutes away.

The only issue we encountered is that the bin area was very smelly so I wouldn't want to have a spot too close to there. It was noticeable even driving past. There were 2 x large dumpster-style bins which is maybe the issue.

Great fully serviced pitch overlooking the lake - easy 30 min drive to the National Space Centre and 15 min to Bosworth Battle Heritage Centre

Lovely scenery. It was cold but very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back in the warmer months. Showers were clean and the building was warm.

Loved proximity of our motor home to the lake.
Fantastic shower facilities and washing area.
Excellent for fishing. Plenty to do there and stunning scenery.
Absolutely a must visit! We booked with my parents too. We are all planning on many return visits.

Definitely our most favourite place by far!
