Beautiful campsite, lots of trees and nearby woodland walks with easily accessible toilet/shower/washing facilities and communal fridge. Reception were friendly and Blaithwaite offer lots of evening activities and food vans, ideal for families with games, play area and small farmyard animals.

Sadly our first night was spoiled by obnoxious behaviour from one set of campers, a large family booking who partied until around 4am blaring loud music, drinking heavily and behaving aggressively. I highly recommend the owners put in place an evening patrol to ensure campers are respecting the 11pm noise curfew and that others feel safe during their stay. As a pair of females camping alone we felt vulnerable, which was a real shame given the otherwise pleasant aspects of the site. We’re not sure we’ll return on this basis.

The shower/toilet cubicles weren’t the cleanest we’ve come across and could do with improved maintenance for the price, although they were easily accessible from the van and we didn’t struggle to find a free cubicle.

Really noisy site, I was told on arrival that it was a quiet site after 2300 hours. There was music blaring out until 2320 hours and extremely loud talking until 9130 hours

Setting good. Monday to Friday was peaceful.

Became very busy at the weekend with families. It was a bit too packed for us. Can see that it is very good for young families.

İt could be better we was put in a field for a big site could be better they need a campers shelter with electric sockets for mobiles and warmth also cooking places as you have to go out to eat if it rains

We camped in the area for large tents and agreed that the pitches were nice and flat. The pizza van made life easy on the night we arrived and the barn was great to get out of the rain and enjoy a few drinks. As the weather was very changeable whist we were there, the use of the barn really made the holiday as it was a great place to get out of the rain and eat together. The kids enjoyed the play areas and laser tag in the woods is a great addition. The site has a nice, laid back vibe and it’s great to be able to sit around the fire in the evening. Good location too.

Sadly, the toilets and showers could be much better. The shower pressure was erratic and the temperature too. The toilets and showers definitely needed more regular and thorough cleaning.

All the facilities available including the two parks, area with the goats and chickens were perfect for my nearly 2 year old.

We also had a brilliant time at the bingo and loved the idea of themed nights and offers on! They treat van was very good serving the best ice cream and waffles.

Clean toilets and showering areas also..loved the different accommodation available. Defiantly visiting again!

We did not stay long enough.

Lots to do on sight. Loved the golf, football park and play areas for kids. Plenty of grounds to wander. Really lovely site.

There was no hand soap in male toilets for the whole stay and the female toilet toilet paper had run out by end of first night, and was not replaced for the remainder of our stay.

Beautiful scenery with well kept grounds. Loved the spaces between tents and even though it was a shared campsite you felt like you had your own space. Toilets and showers were satisfactory as to what you would expect from a campsite. Well kept and fairly clean considering! Good little washing up area. We loved the goats and roosters that we became fond of during our stay and the kids loved the play area!

The only negative really is that there was only one fridge on one of the other fields/campsites. It was very full and people were using it for drinks such as their beers/kids pop etc when people needed to use it for meat etc would have been 5* if each area had their own fridge, especially at busy and peak times!
