During our 2nd week the shower pressure was non intermittent- sometimes weak and sometimes no water at all so unable to shower - I reported it to staff twice . One staff member showed no empathy at all .
We received a call asking if we like a pitch reserving as we were staying 2 weeks and we were due to arrive late , i Gladly accepted this offer - think how nice it was . I requested a porch with evening sunshine. We arrived at night, the following day afyet setting up, we realised that we had actually been given one of the pitches with absolutely no evening sunshine at all - very disappointed

These are clearly marked on the map on the website and up until now, we have had no complaints about the position of the tents.

I don't believe that you were here before our office closed, so you possibly didn't meet any of our staff. We totally refute that campers, or any visitors, are made to feel not welcome on this site.
'Noisy, alongside access road'.
The sitemap shows the position of the access road next to the tents. We have had no complaints previously.
'No picnic benches anywhere'.
This is something that we would wish to do, however, tents are getting bigger and this does not allow us to provide benches for campers in that area. We are looking to find an alternative area for benches.

Our showers have been quoted as being among the best showers they have come across in relation to other campsites. No previous complaints.

Regarding prices, you booked your pitch with the price stated which was your decision at the time. If you felt it was too expensive you shouldn't have made the booking. We have not ever received any other complaints regarding our prices.

We did not provide accommodation for you so your rating of 1 refers to your own tent.
Finally, we are sorry that on this occasion we did not rise to your expectations but I would point you to all of the other reviews and despite you marking us down, we are not a 1 star site and we take pride in our campsite and our service to our valued customers.

The power voltage drop was an issue with the main line OUTSIDE the caravan park and affected the whole area.
I was on site between 10.00 and 10.30 on Friday night and knew nothing of a problem at that point. No one approached me reporting a problem and I spoke with many people during my walk round. All of the lights were on in the facilities block so again no indication of any problem.
I feel we did all we could when we knew exactly what the problem was and the power to the pitches was restored before 12.00.
We are proudly a 9.6 PITCHUP review Awards Winner and NOT a 2 because of a situation over which we could nothing about.
