The fire was absolutely amazing. Showers and toilets were spotless loved that it was an electric shower so no need to keep pressing the button

Everything you need on the campsite- toilets,showers, washing up facilities , drinking water tap and also a fridge and power points in a garden room on the upper terrace with a lovely view. Jon was really friendly and helpful .
Quiet site with no traffic- except for campers and essential services.
You need to be quite agile to walk up or down to Newquay Village- local taxi £5/6 to come back up.

The view was lovely but this could only be seen from pitch 1 or 2 as the hedge/shrubbery that ran along was too high.

The communal summer house is a nice addition with tables outside to admire the view.

Upon arriving back at the site one evening there was no power which as it turns out was across New Quay. Before being aware it wasn’t isolated to the site I called John who came up to check and gave us the information. Following this the toilet lights weren’t working but when he was advised he immediately rectified this.

Good location to access Nee Quay via a footpath.

This is a small site and if you are in pitch 1 you are next to the communal summer house so can have people walking past which for me is a negative as to see the view you would have to be alongside it which means your canopy / area outside is not private.

There is only 1 shower for both male and female and 2 communal toilets which was fine as not busy but could have been a problem if the site was full.

Upon booking for 2 nights for my campervan I received an email stating we were pitch 1 for 2 nights. I received a call asking if we would mind swapping plots after the first one due to a booking error which he said was by pitch up. On arrival we went into pitch 3 as requested and were advised to swap to pitch 1 the following day. On arrival 2 campers were in pitch 1 so appeared that we had been moved to accommodate 2 other vans in the same pitch as this was the only one that would allow this.
As we knew we were having to move we didn’t set up the canopy as seemed a waste of time. The following morning we went out and when we returned to go to pitch 1 we found that another van was in our plot. Again we had to contact John to advise this and ask where we could go as our plot was taken and the occupants weren’t present. He came up but there was nothing he could do as they weren’t there so we parked up in plot 2 which had been empty since we’d arrived. This is a nice plot with a view and if I’m honest would have been better in any case. I’m not sure why he didn’t put us there for both days …

As there are only 7 plots in total I don’t think bookings should have been this difficult and it just felt as though we were messed around to accommodate extra unplanned guests.

What a find. Stunning views. Great location. So peaceful. Went on my own with 3 young children and it was the perfect location for us. Toilets and washing facilities were clean. And the balcony overlooking the sea was fantastic. We used the car to drive into town took about 5 minutes. Will definitely return next year

The hardstanding pitch was too shallow for our driveaway awning. No room infront of tent or side to allow for sitting. The guy ropes would easily be run over by passing vehicles. Although we came prepared with rock pegs, the ground just wouldn't hold them. Unfortunately had to find another site at last minute for the 4 nights. Didn't expect a refund at short notice for the first night but have lost £150 unless we go back another time. Better for couples with smaller set up. Very basic washing facilities.

Difficult to get hold of owner, not a criticism as he was taking time out but maybe should have had someone to cover when taking downtime. Also when being asked to clean showers after use, would be good to have something to clean them with as mop provided was broken.

The site was small with only 7 pitches and we were lucky enough to have the best view of the sea. Warm showers and a fridge to keep extra food was ideal. Very quiet peaceful site.
