Had a wonderful stay here, beautiful area and great facilities! We tried out the open water swimming and had a lovely few days. Mike answered all our questions via email really quickly too.
Cafe was fab, amazing coffee and great portion sizes! Definitely recommend.

Stumbled across this little campsite online and didn’t know what to really expect! BRILLIANT. Lovely clean amenities, polite staff and a really laid back atmosphere. A cafe with everything we needed. The site is targeted at cold water swimmers and divers for the lake but we didn’t feel out of place at any time.

We were all very pleased to see the improvement made on the hard pitches. The surroundings ie the lake etc was as lovely as ever. Also liked the sink facility which meant we did not have to lug the washing up down to the lake area.

We were extremely disappointed with the grass alongside our plot which was hazardous. I tripped on its unevenness on one occasion. The other plot had no chance of putting an awning up, and it was not easy to exit their van as they were met with slopey uneven ground.
