Borders Hideaway Holiday Home Park

Positiv: What a fantastic hidden away site. Totally exceeded our expectations. Everything was immaculate from the pitches which are spacious to the toilet and shower block. Beautiful walks in the manicured fields with marked out pitches and the lovely orchards with apple plum and cherry trees. Excellent dog walking facilities with loads of bins. Thank you to Brian and Tracey and the team who couldn't have been more welcoming. Will definitely visit again. 20 minute walk to the village along quiet road and possible to walk to Hay on Wye which we didn't do on this occasion but will definitely do next time. Positiv: Large pitches, power hookup water tap and wifi on all tent pitches. Well maintained grounds with modern and exceptional cleaned facilities.

Positiv: Lovely clean site, facilities excellent and spotlessly clean. Beautiful views. As the weather had been very wet it was a bit difficult getting the caravan on to the pitch luckily we didn’t need help but the owners were very helpful.

Negativ: Bit difficult to get on the pitch as quite tight

Positiv: Everything! - the managers were incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much for them. - the facilities are well taken care of, so much time and care is taken to ensure communal areas look their best. - great area, really well placed, either 5 minutes drive to Hay-on-Wye, or an hours walk. Countless things to do in the area!

Negativ: Absolutely nothing.

Positiv: Great view of the valley, friendly staff, clean facilities, 5 minute drive from Hay

Negativ: Some electrical issues on our spot but was dealt with promptly.

Positiv: The pitch (#18) position, the play park, the toilet/shower block, the grounds. Friendliness. Clyro is a nice village to be near. And a stove throw from Hay and the river Wye.

Negativ: Noticed that a few of the pitches were quite tricky to get onto for less experienced towers, although the site manager was always very helpful if anyone struggled! Pitches not hugely level, be prepared to level out with chocks and blocks/planks when pitching up.
