This site is just amazing as soon as you get there the staff are delightful, helpful and full of smiles they even put your caravan on the pitch for you. The facilities are top notch so clean upto date and plenty of them. The site is situated fairly near to beaches and attractions but if you don't have a car there is a bus and train station within a 5 minute walk. The trains do run along side the site but I rarely heard them. Across the railway bridge is a delightful pub which caters for all human and furry friends and the food is amazing. A further walk on there is a fush n chip shop, a butchers, a hardware shop and a chinese takeaway. There is another pub short walk away. Opposite this pub there is a spar shop. All in all a great site with local amenities. If you have furry friends there is a lovely walk along sideva river in the adjoining field

Not really a dislike but as there is adjoining field with water I personally got bitten by a few miggies

Fabulous site.
Well kept, clean, with helpful and very approachable staff.
The pub which serves good food, a railway station, and a bus stop just outside the site.
So good that we rebooked for August.

If you want a nice peaceful dog friendly site then this is a site for you.
The staff were so helpful from the moment you arrived at the gate, to your departure.
All site facilities were spotlessly clean and the pitches were well maintained.
Lovely riverside walk next to the site and village provides most essential services.
Bonus was discount at the Ship Inn just a five minute walk from site.

I thought some of the products from the on site shop were slightly high.

Very clean well kept site. Near to train and bus stop and two pubs.
Nice walks for dog along the river.

A little road noise but nothing major.

Really nice site spotless toilets and showers ,thank you to Shane who guided us to our pitch via the water fill up. We loved our stay and will return.

Nothing to dislike

On arrival we were met by a very polite & friendly man, who showed us to our pitch, and gave us all the information needed for our stay, including where to eat out (The Ship Inn offers 10% off to visitors to the campsite).
The grass on the pitch was neatly cut, and the ground was completely flat. The whole site was neat and tidy, and the shower/toilet/washing up block was very clean.
The lady in reception was very helpful with regards to public transport. The local bus service, which runs from the railway station just around the corner, is great, going to all the attractions in the area.
There is a regular train service, which runs alongside the site, but it doesn't really disturb the peace and quiet too much (not too early in the morning, or late at night).
The area around Wool is nice for walking in, with the River Frome just in behind the site. There is also a local connection to Tess of the d'Urbervilles, for all you Thomas Hardy fans.
Highly recommend a stay at this site.

Good sized grass pitch, clean and tidy facilities. Convenience shop for essentials. Very friendly staff that were willing to go over and above to help.

The games room closed at 8pm which we felt was a little too early considering quiet time was from 10pm.
