Basic but clean facilities but good pricing. Would stay again.

Showers are a little dodgy, waters ice cold and then it'll take your skin off

I loved my stay at this little site. It wasn't busy being midweek, and I was able to take my pick of places on the well kept lawn in the shelter of a hedge. It had everything I needed - including the unexpected use of a freezer where I could keep my ice blocks frozen. I'm not looking for upmarket glamping when I go camping, so having these facilities to hand felt almost luxurious for a very competitive rate (there are good showers and toilets too). It was good to get chatting to other campers too - this always helps when you're traveling solo. I hope to be back soon (see below).

When I was looking to book ahead I found that the availability wasn't there on the Pitchup website to be able to do this. As I'm looking to bring a group in the near future and need to make plans for this, this was a downside. However, the proprietor advised me that it may be possible to make arrangements via the phone (with a number given) so I'm hopeful that this will still be achievable.

Lots of space , picnic Benches showers and toilets , lovely and clean will be coming back
