Cant think of nothing

Booked for 1 night, stayed for 2 as we loved the site. Friendly welcome & excellent support throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble for the team. Really spacious pitches on a lovely quiet site… facilities were clean and high quality, and the best showers of any site we’ve been on. The kids particularly loved the fishing lakes - we spent several hours just chilling and even though we’re novices still caught a few fish. A really outstanding site

Nothing - it was perfect

We stayed on the Bracken forest floor pitch which was a brilliant experience. It was the perfect setting for spending time together as a family.

The facilities were ok, the addition of a fridge was helpful to prevent food spoiling in the warm weather.

We took our mini schnauzer with us and liked the availability of a dog shower and poo bags!

Owners were warm and welcoming and very helpful.

The toilets, although cleaned regularly, would have been improved by facilities such as wipes and toilet brush etc for people to clean up after themselves as they go.

The fishing lakes, the layout and location and that it was all out the way.

Lovely welcome on arrival - given an option of pitch and advised best one. Directed to the dog walking field which was lovely to allow the dogs off lead and play. Toilet and shower facilities exceptionally clean, small shop open till 8pm. Spacious pitches with little hedges for some privacy but open enough for neighbour chats.

Absolutely nothing - cannot fault the site or the hosts

What a beautiful park in stunning grounds. Staff were so friendly. Facilities were really good and the showers lovely and hot.
Enjoyed a relaxing week with the family.

Had to come home.

Everything, lovely and clean even saw them come and check the toilets at 10pm and make sure everything was OK.

Nothing really toilets were a bit weird to work out they are just all unisex and 2 that are locked for specific pitches I presume.

Easy to find if you follow the directions. Nice and quiet area with lovely large pitches. As it was still quiet and we arrived as one of the first ones for the electric gravel pitches the hostess allowed us to pick out our own pitch. We went for a quiet/private one at the top near the chalets. Conveniently it was also close to the toilet/shower area so that was quite lucky as we have a campervan that is not equipped with those. Real simpel rules on the campsite and I was pleasantly surprised everyone abode by them. The shower and toilets were very clean and looked to still be quite new. Nice hot shower, with good circulation. A washing up station outside the shower building with a doggy shower next to it.
Unfortunately we stayed only for a day, as a stopover, so we didn't really explore the area but I can only imagine how beautiful the area is
