Lovely welcome, well kept site and quiet. Toilets nice and clean. Unfortunately I just had a quick overnight between a tiring tennis tournament and work so couldn’t spend enough time exploring. Handy stop off close to the M5 on the way home.

A bit more room around the pitch would have been nice.

Pitches are not level and fishing ok but too much mud to get to them

A lovely location but not when weather has been so bad beforehand, pitches very small and sloping we had chocks with us but even parked at top of them van was still sloping . We put awning up but pegging guy ropes out we were on next pitch to us so decided to take it back down , the next day we left and found somewhere else to stay .

We absolutely loved staying here. The location is so unique and utterly beautiful, even in the rain.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, we felt very welcome by them and our different neighbours during our stay. The other campers were a joy to be around and our children made lots of lovely friends.
The forest walks are like a fairy tale, our girls had the best time exploring!
The large bathrooms were also really handy as a family, and were brilliantly clean with lovely showers.
The location was remote enough that you felt cut off from the world, but there was still reasonable phone signal and plenty of shops, pubs etc a short drive away. We will certainly be coming back!

There was a friendly welcome, a well stocked shop, clear map and parking instructions.
A very pretty, quiet site with walks around the lakes and a designated path running through and off the site

A wonderful, down to earth campsite. Very little to dislike as my family & I enjoy camping in the essential elements. We loved the easy going approach from the owners (who were extremely welcoming and accommodating). I was a joy to see a campsite shop so reasonably priced, for the few essentials that the wife forgot to pack (of course). We stayed Easter weekend 2023, and had a marvellous time, although spring had not quite sprung. The lakes were a joy to fish, my 9yr old boy has caught the angling bug!!

On the whole, we will be back!!!

One small nitpick.......or should i say 'minor criticism', is that the tree's around the valley lake could do with a little cutting back. Only one or two pegs around both lakes are 'beginner friendly'.

Very welcoming owners, nothing was too much trouble. The site was clean and well looked after. Definitely recommend.

Such friendly and helpful hosts. Came round with chocolate on Easter Sunday. Quiet peaceful sore Dog enjoyed the site. Lovely hot showers- all very clean.

On a bit of a slope but hey that's proper camping.
