One of the cleanest sanitary facilities we had on our holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The WIFI is fast even at peak times, but costs money except for a free trial hour (but the price is good). The washing machine and tumble dryer are also not expensive and we were helped immediately when we had problems caused by incorrect operation on our end.

Pitches are a little steeper. But it was no problem with a wedge and there were large blocks of stone that we could place under the stabilisers.

The campsite had everything you needed. It had lovely clean showers and toilets,
always plenty of hot water whatever time of day you used the showers or washed your dishes. There was a laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer, which was very useful as we were camping for two weeks. The shop was very useful for things you were running out of, like milk and bread.

There was nothing to dislike.

It’s a fantastic site, a beautiful little spot which is really easily accessible. We use it as a halfway point on the way to Cornwall.

The facilities are incredibly clean (probably the cleanest we’ve experienced) and the site shop is great and has all the little bits you may need.

The fishing is excellent too! Our girls love exploring the forest and having a go at fishing 🎣

Clean facilities, very friendly staff, we stayed longer than planned, was very nice location, very quiet with tentpitches between the trees -very nice!

Relaxed feeling to the site, variety of pitch types and glamping options.

We stayed on the Bramble woodland pitch, it was lovely to be amongst the trees with all the squirrels and birds; it felt secluded but with the bonus of electric hookup and facilities just a stones throw away.

There are 2 lakes to wander round and public footpaths accessible from the site.

Grounds were well maintained, the kitchen and shower/facilities were clean and tidy. Little shop which sells the essentials.

Location wise it's just outside of Wellington which has a few different supermarkets. Wellington monument is just down the road from the site is a lovely place to visit for a walk and the views.

If you are looking for a chilled campsite with good facilities then the Kingsmead Centre is perfect 👌

The whole campsite was very well maintained, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
The shower and toilet facilities were some of the best I've experienced (the showers were better than some flats I've lived in!)
We had a forrest pitch and it was magical, came with a picnic bench and a lovely ear area to pitch up right under the trees!
Perfect for families

Only thing was our pitch neighbour who didn't respect the noise curfew but thats nothing the site have control over or could change. Everything about this site was top teir and ive recommended to all my camping minded friends

Wonderful and well maintained camp and facilities. Cute little shop with a really surprisingly comprehensive selection of camping essentials. Quiet and peaceful site, really enjoyed our stay!

Liked that it is a beautiful area and the lakes are gorgeous. Facilities were fab and very clean. Staff were lovely. Nice little shop.

On pitch up I purposefully chose a site with wifi but didn't realise this was an extra cost and there was no signal. The stile to the footpath is wired off and no way for dogs to get through and only over which if you have a large old dog is impossible and as someone that reviews dog friendly places this is something we look out for

We loved our holiday, everything was great!! The staff were lovely and attentive, the facilities were fantastic, the site was clean and full of character and the little shop was full of goodies! The only thing we'd change is that we would've loved to stay longer!!
