Lovely quiet site perfect location and friendly staff

We love the lakes. This site is well located and makes getting around easy. Set in a beautiful working farm with views towards Blencathra. Lovely facilities, the communal cabin was a lovely touch, especially for my eldest to use the WI-FI.

Unfriendly staff - didn't acknowledge my partner on arrival, no welcome and only gave the minimum information of the site, which meant I had to go back to find out more details once we were set up.

Lovely facilities and in a really lovely spot in the lakes. Lovely to see the farm animals as well with local pub a 10 min walk. Very good value for money though xx

Site was extremely muddy, but that was down to the amount of rain we have had, so not the campsites fault just a heads up

Place was well-looked after, facilities were very clean, showers were lovely and warm which was well needed due to the weather! Reception staff were polite and helpful, tent was flooded due to the awful weather and we were provided with a camping pod with no extra charge. Will go again.
Local pub was walkable and good bus route.

Pitches were level and sheltered. Near to everything on site as only small number of pitches.
Great facilities that were clean and well maintained. Free hot showers, fire pit hire and wood available and a common room with microwave and warm safe place.
Lovely walks withib and close to site. But also within 20mins of Keswick, Glenridding, Blencathra and winlatter forest. So much to do.
Our kids loved it and we are heading back in the summer. Already booked.

Had to cancel at short notice as weather was unsafe for travelling.

We stayed in the Kipper Cabin and it was just magical. Would highly recommend. Shower are just 2 min walk. The area is peaceful. The pub up the road was delicious and within walking distance.
