Stayed with my little girl,mam amd sister for 2 night. It was such a peaceful break away. The site is surrounded by beautiful views and some amazing walks. There is a pub within walking distance that serves food and it is central to Keswick and Penrith. Ullawater and Ambleside are just short drives away. Staff on site are extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and are always on hand to help.

Showers were clean, very easy check in process, beautiful campsite, wonderfully quiet, great facilities in the communal area.

Cabin was warm and dry with a wonderful porch which meant we could sit outside even when it was wet.

Just a hit more information on the cooking facilities available in Kipper Cabin, we didn't bring a camping stove as kitchenette was listed but this was easily solved by a trip to Keswick.

Great site, easy access off the M6 and the A66. Big pitches, the one I was on did have a slope so blocks might be necessary. Well laid out facilities and the toilets and showers were really clean. This site has great access to the other parts of the lakes. Had a great stay.

The tent field has great views, would have been great to have the same views

Glamping pod was clean and comfortable
Was able to pitch an event shelter for cooking in bad weather.
Great location for walking northern and north west fells.
Great common room was well equipped with microwaves, kettles etc.
I arrived in pouring rain but was able to use microwave for a hot meal.
I liked the quiet family focussed atmosphere

Beautiful Campsite, very relaxed vibes, great views over the mountains, very clean showers & toilets. Lovely family that run the site, very helpful. Great location to the Lakes, nice farm shop close by.

Amazing views , lovely friendly people, on site hire of firepits ans logs to buy, decent shops only 15 minutes away, amazing price amazing place !

The site was very well looked after. Grass pitches nice and even, gravel paths and parking areas as looked after well and no pot holes.
The showers and toilet where always clean and tidy and the showers worked really well.
I'll stay again.
