Excellent location directly on „Cumbria Way“ hike.
We loved that most campsites had a seat&table.
Clean facilities, great showers.
Very friendly owners.

Some shelter where hikers can cook when it‘s raining, might be nice.

Beautiful site. Loved seeing the sheep each day. Very peaceful. Facilities were excellent, the water was nice and warm for washing up and showers. The lady and daughter running the site were friendly and welcoming.

Lovely little campsite beside the river. Tidy grass area. Easy to find. Owner was helpful Toilets and showers were clean.
Also small area with washing facilities with hot water. Clean bin area. Was very quiet which was lovely. Small village with pub with food etc within easy walking Definitely recommend

Beautiful campsite in a lovely setting. A great cafe, pub and shop in walking distance. Clean toilets and showers. Good size, flat pitches, peaceful with the sound of the river.

Walkers getting up early and packing up whilst having loud conversations at 7am, children running through our pitch and tripping over our guy lines, a young couple running their noisy, smelly diesel land rover for 45 minutes then looking offended when you ask them to turn it off. This is not a complaint about the campsite owners, as they provide a lovely leaflet telling campers not to do these things, it's just really frustrating that people choose not to follow the rules and spoil it for others.

Clean well maintained facilities, warm showers that you don’t have to pay extra for! Stream running through the site ideal for the kids or dogs. 5 min walk into the village with shop and odd fellows pub, served excellent food but make sure to precook a table
