Morelands Copse Camping

Syntes om: Great views and lovely surroundings, feels remote even though close to amenities and pub very walkable, even with young children. Very relaxed site.

Syntes ikke om: We were there in August, lots of wasps around this time of year which was difficult with young kids. Facilities are basic, depends what you’re used to/looking for but be aware especially with young kids.

Syntes om: An excellent campsite with a safe and secure environment for kids and dogs. We camped in the woodland area which had only 4-5 pitches nicely spaced to provide privacy. Great fun to be able to have campfires and cook outdoors. The facilities were well looked after and whilst low-key / minimal in keeping to their low impact setting, it was enough to make the experience easy. Loved it and will be back soon.

Syntes ikke om: Woodland pitches could be larger to accommodate larger tents. Some dead trees around the pitches which could be removed to accommodate.

Syntes om: We loved the setting and the views. The woodland was beautiful and we loved listening to the animals and the dawn chorus. The honesty shop is a great idea and well stocked. The communal areas are cute and a really nice addition.

Syntes ikke om: Could the portoloos be replaced by compost toilets? We wanted a small campsite and thought there would be fewer campers based on the number of pitches advertised - the meadow camping was really busy so we are relieved we were in the woods, even though sound carried.

Syntes om: Wonderful locatation, beautiful pitches in a gorgeous little forest copse. The staff were super kind and helpful. We had such a wonderful time we can’t wait to go back again!!

Syntes ikke om: Some of the porta potty’s were tilted and there were not enough of them for both field and forest. This is not enough to put us off though!

Syntes om: Possibly the nicest camp I've ever been to: • Directions on the welcome email were nice and clear. • The pitch itself was clean and well-maintained. Absolutely thrilled to have a fire pit! • Tye Honesty Shop had so many conveniences (including important things you may have forgotten) • The pitch was incredibly easy to get to, and being surrounded by trees gave us a sense of privacy. • The price was very reasonable (£25/night for 2 people) • Would highly recommend and I'm hoping to go back again next year.

Syntes om: The relaxed atmosphere, the basic but well maintained facilities, the views, the easy walk to a lovely pub, (we went to the Ship at Owslebury which had an amazing beer garden and great food!) We loved the goats, the geese and herons and the tranquility and the friendliness of the campsite managers. The children loved being able to escape safely into the woods, foraging for blackberries (they made jam and bread) and the honesty box was a fantastic touch! Thanks for a great stay!

Syntes ikke om: It was a pain having to take our rubbish away with us. Having to drive away in a packed car with our rubbish and recycling made the experience less enjoyable. Plus the portaloos weren't particularly easy to flush so were unusable for some of the stay!

Syntes om: Amazing! Beautiful location. Back to basics, but that's exactly what we wanted and needed. Fantastic communication. Dogs are very welcome. Accommodation is very clean and everything you need is available. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you Sami and Dan

Syntes om: Sami was so helpful and welcoming, loved our bell tent , the honesty shed was a great idea for picking up a few snacks , we brought firewood and loved having a fire pit , we will definitely return .

Syntes om: Quiet place, only us and one other family on the field

Syntes ikke om: No longer allowed to use the facilities unless staying inside the forest. - these were our favourite part about staying here last year.
