Great little site

It’s a lovely place, children are always in view wherever they get too, it’s gated so they can’t escape they can watch the fisherman fishing, play on the park!

What a friendly and well designed caravan park, soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the Warden, who told us where to park and amenities were. Told us where local takeaway was and bar. Sadly only stayed one night would love to do more.

Really pleasant site , good sized pitches and the warden Wayne is really helpful , he clearly takes pride in his job and does his utmost to make campers happy .

Poor toilet facilities ( one toilet for men, one for ladies) not really adequate for the amount of pitches and particularly as so many were tents .
The washing up sink was cold water only and was right next to the Elsan waste !
It felt like these basic facilities had been put in as an afterthought - needs updating and a bit of investment

The site was nice and quiet even with lots of children staying. The warden is very friendly and made sure the stay was enjoyable.

Great little campsite, with a fishing lake in the middle. Quiet and well place location. We’ve been before and loved it, second time around didn’t disappoint and rebooking through pitch up was dead easy. They had the previous booking saved and we had it all sorted in a couple of clicks. Great stuff :)

Not so much disliked, more just a shame the pub next door didn’t do food mon/ tues/ weds because not enough custom to warrant employing a chef. They did however offer us a table inside and cutlery if we wanted to get take away meal. How good was that !

Nice and friendly campsite very peaceful ,second time here will definitely come again

Peaceful site, warden Wayne was so helpful, a very relaxing break.

Only has 1 hand basin in male/ female toilet block which can be tricky when several people are in there at same time

No hot water to wash-up with, and just a dribble of tepid water from the toilet block.
Only one men’s toilet cubicle for whole campsite.

Small, attractive sight round a lake. The warden was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The site was quiet and well kept. The toilets were clean.
