Location was great near the beautiful roman town of Cirencester known as the capital of the Cotswolds. Well kept grounds, toilets showers and washup areas. Plenty of space with good size pitches. Lovely little shop and outdoor sunny seating area. Very well secured with gated entrance and external visitor parking.

A little noisy so bring earplugs as the road noise is constant throughout the day and night, only easing off in the early hours. Not much space for checking in parking so expect a delay if peak season, as only enough room for two cars.

A minor grumble was that the grounds staff were a bit aggressive in manner when I parked once near the exit garages, near reception, as I had to ask for a reminder of the barrier code, and considering I was a guest there, I did not expect a loud "Hey, hey you cant park there!" being bellowed at me. A simple "Oh sorry, you cant park there, is there something I can help with?" would have been far better.

Also on departure, I approached the exit and turned right to head for reception and got a similar aggressive response, this time from another groundsman. "There is no right turn he shouted! What are you doing there?" he literally shouted. There were 3 cones there, which I thought was simply to highlight a pothole. There was no sign saying "no right turn" as I approached! I suggest a sign be put up to advise drivers which is needed.

Moreover, for paying guests anywhere, even on a campsite, a better degree of courtesy would give customers a better experience. Funnily enough I had stopped on this instance, prior to leaving the campsite to return home, to pop into reception to say thank you for a lovely stay. I delivered the message anyway as the lady there was lovely. Nonetheless my customer experience after a great few days was somewhat tarnished from being shouted at twice in 3 days!

Perfect location to amenities. Had all the necessary things that you'd need while away from home. A friendly environment of people.

Slope was a little steep but this did have an advantage of having great views in the morning.

Excellent site, kept very clean and tidy. Bus stop quite close, and the site is very well organised.

The site is right next to an A road so you get the noise of the traffic constantly, making it quite hard to sleep at times.

Really spacious pitches. Grass well kept and mowed. Lovely dog exercising areas with poo bins.

Showers were SO hot and the whole block was so clean and well maintained.

Nice and secure with a barrier for entry/exit.

Very information, map given on arrival and escorted to our pitch.

Friendly chickens roaming around and nice play area for the kids!

Taken personally to our pitch by the owner of the site - lovely personal approach and he welcomed us to explore the information/play hut, football field and even his pet chickens! :)
The pitches were well sized and the whole site was decorated well with shrubs/tropical trees. There was a generally calm and friendly atmosphere and the toilets were well facilitated/clean. Otherwise, lovely site and fantastic view over the Cotswolds (best seen from the football field), will absolutely revisit.

The door on the toilets is very heavy and caught my little girl's foot, no major damage, but I had to be vigilant when they were going in and out of the loo for the rest of the weekend.

Road noise is quite intrusive at all times of the day. Pitches at reception end are tight with no room to sit out and are shaded. Basins in ladies were visibly dirty each time I used the facilities block. It was a very busy bank holiday weekend so understand its hard to keep up if people don't leave it clean.
