A lovely quiet park, we’d stayed the night before at a much bigger noisy site and realised that wasn’t what we enjoyed, this was great, peaceful, friendly, all the facilities we needed and plenty of space for us and the dog. It’s a short walk to the pebble beach. The site itself has Highland cattle, goats and a free-ranging hen. The toilets are very clean, likewise showers (would recommend duckboards as it was difficult to dry in there as the floor was very wet). We really would have liked to have stayed there much longer. Oh, there’s a beautiful tea room/bar with gorgeous cakes, seating inside and out. Highly recommended.

Our second visit to Hendre Hall and this time we brought friends with us as we liked it so much last time :-)
Great location being so close to the beach and train station. Bar and shop are fantastic to have on site, not to forgetting friendly hosts.
Looking forward to coming back again in the future and having another relaxing time away.

Stayed on a non electric pitch in a VW campervan with awning and with a dog.
The pitch had plenty of room for us and didn’t feel crammed in, the grass area was well kept and tidy. The toilets and showers were clean and good enough. The site had a cafe and bar (but we didn’t use it) and a farm shop that sold good bbq food and other essentials
Location was great, pebbly beach 2 mins from the site and train station 5 mins walk away for easy and cheap access to Barmouth, Tywyn and Aberdovey. (Kids go free)
Relaxed feel around the site and would return.

On the railway line, trains running early (before 6.30am) in the morning.
Although not a major issue could do with a few more toilets/showers.
Camping field fairly exposed to adverse weather - was really really windy 2/4 days we were there.
Not sure when the cafe was open but nothing before 9am for morning drinks

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful bar with a seating area outside. Wonderful views over Tremadoc Bay.

The beach was quite rocky in places, but that is to do with nature more than anything.
Paying for the shower was a little annoying.

Lovely clean site with plenty of space. Staff are super friendly and nothing send to much trouble. Right next to a quiet rocky beach but when the tide goes out lots of sand to play on.

Close to the train line but they don’t run all night.
